I've got a 10ft pool and no water meter, thanks for the wishes of good luck.

Note that with these, you need a dead flat surface to place on to. If that's not possible you would be better with a framed pool.

Sorry it was only meant for approx. 50% population with water meter. 3500 liters would cost a fortune

About £6.80?

I agree that having a meter focusses your attention where stuff like this is concerned though.

Yeah I would go with the Costco one tbh, you are looking at about £10 for a cover alone. Plus you're getting a pump too, another cost to look at is a flotation holder for chlorine tablets. We picked up the solar cover for ours (big bubble wrap cover) and have to say that this year, it's really trapped in the heat and the water isn't freezing each day. Was an add-on item previously for £2.89 so keep an eye out in closed season.

Oh really? What happens if it's not?

Well the structure of the pool is based around the inflated top ring rising and pulling the walls up but if the water doesn't want to sit straight and head in the way of gravity it will pull the pool and bulge in that direction.
Well at least after summer if you placed it in a grass patch - u won't need to do the lawn!!! I'll have a nice wound patch;)
Don't forget you will need the chemicals to keep the pool from going green.
Daily monitoring your hp levels & use of Pool Chlorine Tablets to keep the pool fresh.
You will need to monitor your hp levels daily, because when it starts to go green it's time to start again unless you shock treat the pool.
Happy playing.....8)
Love how these deals get posted and hot. We have like 2 weeks summer and buy a pool for 2 weeks then it's goes in the garage for another year haha
If you are a STW customer and on a water meter should cost £5 to fill this to the brim.
By the time it's delivered the weather will probably be cold again! Tomorrow is the last good day apparently.

any further tips? are chlorine tabs ok to use on their own?
That's one of the awesome advantages to having artificial grass. You can have the kids out the garden all day long with hoses/paddling pool and water slides and no mud or mess. And the grass is still looking brand new after moving the pool weeks later.

If you have kids I can't recommend the artificial grass enough.

Massive bill alert! And one of the rats posing as children will put the side through within a week.

Totally get what you mean about the mess and convenience, especially with kids BUT...

Plastics grass is just not the same as touching & smelling real living grass along with everything (good and bad) that goes with it, especially for kids

In fact, I think it's rather tragic.
