Summer Sale at The Book People - up to 75% off loads of books

Quality books at bargain prices , compared with Amazon.

Just ordered Sarah Ravens Garden Cookbook for £5 , £19.49 at Amazon ... and Hamlyn Cookery School £4 , £11 at Amazon.

Nice website and ordering system, not sure about the free postage over £15 at the top of the page seems to be £25 at checkout.

Yeah, someone seems to have made a booboo with regards to the £15 postage banner.. hopefully a sign of something to come

Don't forget 6% Quidco

If you phone your order they will honour the free delivery with £15 spend, I did this today, just tell them about the banner, it means you miss out on cashback but you save £3.50 on delivery, hth x

Apologies , like a good member I checked for previous deals first and must have used the link to the site from a post by mistake.
I can assure you I have no connections with The Book People at all.

Had a phone call from The Book People , web orders now free postage over £15 and the website checkout has been corrected,

Not sure about phone orders, I got the impression it is web only.

But surely that is against HotUKDeals policy - and if someone clicks the link to see the offer, then goes through Quidco (for example) they will miss out.

Seems very misleading of Hotukdeals.

The whole point of HUKD is that they get commission on click throughs. You don't think they do it for free do you? If you want to use quidco, make sure you clear cookies, or use two different browsers (eg firefox to view HUKD, explorer to buy).
