problem with amazon delivery about this BIG ITEM it's company who delivered it . They using ArrowXL (I'm based in Yorkshire) and they are AWFUL ! I order mattress thru amazon , amazon customer service left a note for item that need to be delivered to specific bedroom upstairs . When they show up they THROW the mattress of the van (didn't bother with lift that they got fit to VAN , that they could dropped it slowly and gently ), damage the outer plastic packaging , when told them to take it upstairs they said there's no chance , they delivering it to front doors that's it. When showed them email from amazon saying that they've been informed that mattress need to be delivered to upstairs bedroom they said they can do it for extra charge....

REFUSED accepting the item , immediately rang amazon informing them how I was treated , refund me money same day , made a complain and bought a mattress from local shop and second one recently from Argos (set frame plus mattress). Argos guys showed up no issues at all told them to take it upstairs no fuss at all .

Love amazon but from now on BEFORE I order big items(furniture, kitchen appliances etc) I always ask which company will make the delivery.

Just watch out !

I was considering cancelling our existing Argos mattress order for the spare room and buying this but looking through the reviews even those that are positive in stars often have something negative to say somewhere in the review.

A mattress is an investment. You will spend around 1/3 of your time resting in the bed. Be wise get a mattress around 400 mark if you want a half decent sleep without pain. A good mattress will last 8 years that's £50-80/year for a good night rest. Just purchased a king sized mattress and frame from bensons for beds. Was £1499 but came to £1000 after black Friday, BLC and quidco.

I purchased my last bed 10 years ago from sleep master (same company) and mattress has just died. But I've had amazing use out of it and comfort level has been really good. Paid 960 back then! (edited)
