That's a rip off version which Amazon also sell for about £18. Check out the last time it was posted.....they sound pretty naff to me (despite looking and claiming to be exactly the same!).

No it's a different make.

Personally I can't recommend dealtastic; I bought what was supposed to be a micro2 from dealtastic through Amazon for £17.99 before Christmas - however they delivered a MK1 model.
I had so much hassle with their returns department I ended up selling it on on ebay for a few pounds loss.

Avoid market place sellers with a very long barge-pole and buy direct from Amazon.

BEWARE SUMVISION!
They do NOT honour the guarantee!

Does this V2 model support

NTFS - One review on Amazon report USB sticks need to be FAT32?!
Also DTS downsampling to stereo for playback on TV set direct (i.e. no DTS decoder needed for playback in stereo)
The dealtastic unit is that the same as the amazon one? No mension of brands

This is the Cyclone MK2 it plays .mkv files - The MK I is usually around £18 but has been as low as £12.

I've been waiting for the price to drop significantly; You're right this isn't a particularly hot price; it has been a few pennies cheaper at Amazon and there have been one or two deals a pound or more cheaper also.

I've just brought my second, they are a brilliant piece of kit, I stick to what I know so went with the Sumvision again as opposed to Dealtastics version! It seems to play whenever I download no matter what format.

I got mine from Ebay for £30, P&P free!

You'd have been better buying from Amazon IMO - It's been this price a couple of weeks...

Excellent, have been after one of these for a while now. Heat added.

Anybody know whether this has that stupid cinavia DRM built in?

Ok thanks if I play a video with DTS encoded sound will it down mix it to stereo?
The WD HD MK1 did not do this it was an option added to the MK2

Piyuanju, The Cyclone Micro 2 PLUS new version will support subtitles, MKV and optical with 5.1 Surround - See my thread:

hotukdeals.com/dea…994

The Plus normally sells for much more than the standard as it is a significant improvement.
