Have already got one of these, exceptionally good product. Great recorder, Multi-region too with the hack. Dual format - only problem it doesn't have a hard drive. But for £68 can you really complain???

Asda have a Funai dvd recorder that plays all divx for £59 and it plays everything. I took a liteon recorder back as all my divx stutted, the funai was much better, no stutter and no problems as of yet.
Oh and it uses minus discs

Quite agree with you on the Liteon player they're not rated as highly, the Funai player only does DVD-r discs not both (ie + & -) also hasn't as much functionality as the SumVision. Still a bargain though for less than £60!

I have a SumVision [next one up from this] DVD recorder and it plays everything fine.

The TV tuner is pretty useless though I must admit...
