Theyre never £9.50 each, put it that way...

You know you've hit rock bottom when you're collecting tokens from the sun …You know you've hit rock bottom when you're collecting tokens from the sun so that you can go stay in a caravan in Skegness for 3 nights..

Personally not my cup of tea but there are people who have hit rock bottom and still want to take their kids away - even if it is just Skegness! And this is a good deal for those who do not have the disposable income for a 2 week all inclusive trip to Cuba for the family. Lets not be judgemental...

Do a search on Google and you’ll pick up tips on making them as cheap & as good as possible. I’ve used them years ago and enjoyed it but expect it to be really busy during peak periods.

Totally worth. I have used many times in past and found it cheapest.

There are many parks where there is no fee on selected dates so you just pay £9.50 x 4 for accommodation. With some extra, you can upgrade..
Both £9.50 hols have cost me at least £250 for a weekend but depends what you want. It’s often just an excuse to get away for us and we prefer nicer parks. I’d always recommend an upgrade too. The first one we had we got the oldest caravan type. It was rubbish. If you get a newer caravan style they are generally Ok for a weekend.
we did it for the first time last year.
la ranolien in brittany for 7 days with ferry crossing came in at 350 inc the crossing for 7 days (2 adults and 2 children)
weather over there in may was amazing with 28 degrees and people are actually really nice and helpful
we also did haven later on in the year in the UK but weren't to impressed with that.
Definitely worth it for the abroad ones (not so keen on the UK ones)
Anyone know if I can use the app if I don't buy the paper?
when are the bonus codes send out?

depends when and where you want to go and standard of accommodations you want.
For school hols its worth it.
Check prices on dates you want vs sun hols first.

Bonus code is emailed by Sun to those who have used Sun Holidays previously.

Stung, more like they pull your pants down.

You will get the very most basic accommodation that nobody really wants to stay in,then there is the fees for the electric, gas, bedding,so on and so forth, and then there is the up charge for entertainment passes and such like.

In other words there is no way you can do it for £9.50 as there is always something that you will have to pay extra for,the £9.50 is just the neon lights to pull you so they can hit you with loads of up charges.
Last one we did in France saved us nearly £1000 over the eurocamp prices... Last one we took to Holland saved us around £400 over the eurocamp prices. Yes they are worth it. We managed to do a £9.50pp stay once in mablethorpe. Well worth it for 4 nights.

So not £9.50 then.

I’m sure that £500 is a marked up price to be knocked down to look good for the Sun deals

Because its summer school holidays, no it won't be 9.50 and that is only for 1 person.
And no price I quoted will only go up as i monitored it last summer
I’ve done 3 of these now and have never had a problem. It always costs me more than £9.50 per person with the various extras such as entertainment passes and linen charges but it’s always been under £100 for 5 of us. Last holiday was October half term for 5 days at Skegness, was brilliant for a cheap getaway.

Agree - never paid over 100. My last holiday was in Italy and just paid £70.
your right its never £9.50 per person, got stung with a £2.30 booking fee!

still a weekend away for 4 @ £40.30 is a deal!

just got to play around with different parks and dates sometimes
So I’m guessing the codes will be on the net
ive been on loads of these and find it well worth it,
i went 8 times in one year about three years ago, once a month from March to October
Have been on these Holidays in the past, and although we have always paid more than the advertised price with upgrades, electric, entertainment passes etc , we have still found them to be good value for money and cheaper than booking the equivalent holiday elsewhere . Most of the Holidays generally are with the major companies, Haven, Parkdean, Park Resorts etc
Down side only certain dates/times of year to chose from and not the easiest to to get the holiday park you want on the dates you want,

Have done a number of these Holidays, as some have said, some sites are better than others.
Once paid to the Sun of which there is normally a £2.50 booking fee with a choice of upgrade (which we prefer). You then pay the balance to the Park before you arrive, there are mandatory fees such as Bedding and Utilities and a further chance to upgrade.

Been to N. Ireland, good but not the cheapest - Normally stop at Parkdean Resorts but but did not like Warmwell (Dorset) The Isle of White is brilliant. Not chanced the ones in Europe, perhaps may try when we know how and if Brexit effects us.

My advice is try one and see if you like it. most 4 day Mon - Fri costs around £140 - Nothing ventured nothing gained.

Both but still worth it, you will sometimes have to pay extra for bedding, electric/gas and entertainment, but after all that it still works out about 1/3 of the normal cost.

Presume you've never tried one, I've been on a few and whilst I'm certainly not a raving snob I'm quite fussy about both the cleanliness of the caravan and the "quality" of clientele you may encounter. Anyway some I've really enjoyed but once I came home early it was that bad, it's a case of doing your homework on TripAdvisor etc before you book, if like me you want a cheapish short break with your children that they'll enjoy then this is for you.

Bedding (linen) is not a mandatory fee, you can take your own, and you should take your own considering they charge £15-£20 for a couple of quilt covers for 3 or 4 nights

Nops,. Must be on separate days. Try Googling during token dates and most prob you will find tokens collected by others on the net.
This is a big con it’s not £9.50 per holiday !

How did you get a 7 day option as this only seems to be offering 3 or 4 days? I’d love to do France but not worth it for 3/4 days
Can anyone tell me if you can book touring pitches via this deal or is it just static caravans/lodges etc? Thanks
We have done this a few times and even with all the extras for entertainment, bedding, upgrades etc it’s still so much cheaper than booking direct with the sites. We stayed at Haven in Wales in October and it was lovely, I checked the haven site a few days before we went and it would have been £200 more for the same holiday.
