Use that £5 off to buy bog roll when shopping there 🤢

Better idea would be to use the trash rag the voucher was printed in to wipe your ar$e with.

Every Voucher deal involving The Sun gets slated regardless. Some people hate the Sun because of Hillsborough.

They left chilled food out for over 12 hours in warehouse

Or frozen just not chilled lol
The Sun will try anything to sell that misleading propaganda! Fine buy it for the £5 if you must, but don’t waste your time reading it! My opinion anyway!!
hot...cheaper beer for me i dont need any chillers

Two little problems here accounting for all the cold votes:

1 It's the Sun (need I say more)

2 The Watchdog report last night suggests serious risks for customers buying supposedly chilled food at Iceland:

Safe time allowed to get it from chilled truck to chilled storage 2 hours (absolute maximum) - actual time achieved 12+ hours!

This promotion will almost certainly have been brought in by Iceland to try to stem the inevitable sales loss caused by last night's programme.

Hmmmm..........£5 off £30 or avoiding a bout of diarrhoea and vomiting? Pretty clear choice in my book!
People love a moan.

Heat added.
Nope

Well said.
I saw the programme last night and it was bad no need of that and do people really think that every shop every supermarket every cafe every restaurant food is put away i used to work for a pub chain a few years ago and sometimes frozen food took ages to get put away totally ok by the manager !!! If people get or got ill by this food in iceland the inspectors would of been in well before now , £5 off £30 spend cool just buy tinned and shelf packet stuff

Im sure when you go shopping you leave your chilled food out for longer than you should and you store in a plastic carrier bag

I'm not saying theyre right but many people don't store it properly

Your naivety is as touching as your misunderstanding of the situation. Frozen food would have been bad enough, but at least it's less critical because it leaves the trucks at well below -18C.

This wasn't frozen food though - this was chilled food, and the absolute maximum for safe storage outside the chiller is 2 hours. That's actually a legal limit too - and Iceland are very clearly in breach of the law. And if they're prepared to break the law on this, what other laws are they prepared to ignore in the pursuit of greater profits for the shareholders?

There's no excuse for this at all - they're choosing to put their customers at risk to increase their profits.

And many more because of News International and a whole host of other reasons, ethical, moral, political - you name it - they've trashed it!

Iceland wasn’t a target. They were shopped by staff. Don’t you think that if other supermarkets were doing this, on this sort of scale, they’d have been shopped too?

Don’t make excuses for them. This is a dangerous malpractice.
