How do these work?

do they have to be professionally installed?

Will they credit check who I give them to?

Thanks :-)

It clearly states 'No contract'.

Yes, professionally installed.
Yes, with dish and box.
No, to the credit check, as far as i'm aware.

You can now order this in-store at Currys i think, if you want to go down and ask questions.

It is a pack with a code inside. You or the person you give it to just needs to ring Sky to arrange installion. Installation, dish and set top box are all included. Yes you can give them as gifts. They may well credit check the person you give them to.

Yes but you get 4 mixes with this offer.
Don't forget that the price of all mixes went up recently.

It states that the colour of the sky box is WHITE!!!!!!!!
What a stupid colour, won't match my black tv stand, tv ..etc......
Give that a miss.

Don't forget this a advent special. Only valid today!!!!!

Hi
Argos also have it for £75. Even better if you bought something recently and have a £10 voucher

Once the free months of the Sky Mixes runs out, as long as you keep your viewing card in you will get the same channels as listed here: freesatfromsky.com/?pID=3

Note that there are a few notable Freeview channels missing, such as E4 and Dave. These may become available on the new BBC and ITV run service Freesat, which starts next year, but might require a non-Sky box: freesat.co.uk/hom…php

Does anybody know how much it costs to have it installed? It's for my bedroom?

I only have a stand alone aerial, bought myself a samsung 32" goodness knows why, i only play the wii on it so this would do nicely.

I'm just a wee bit confused, appologies for the ignorance.

Installation is included in the £69. Please note the offer is for today only. It goes back up to £75 tomorrow.

Where a phone line is not present, or where you do not wish to connect the equipment to a phone line you will be subject to a further charge of £25 for installation.

Sorry being thick here ,but what does that mean ?

it means you have to have a working phone line...not a mobile phone at home..you need a land line

Thanks for this (and the discount code). Maybe I'll be able to watch a decent picture on the olds' telly this Christmas.

Again why must you be forced to have your phone connected to it. This is the only reason I would not go for this. Its hassle running a line to a bedroom. Just dont seem right to me.

I don't understand why people want this, the channel list looks worse than what you get with Freeview, unless you prefer quantity over quality.

Poor freeview reception.

How about NO Freeview reception - won't have freeview in my area (or lots of areas in N. Ireland) for another 4 years.

Sounds exactly like sly, plus I bet it will be so so so easy to get through on cancellation week lol

I ordered this last Monday from another thread. Paid £67.50 for it with discount codes.

My paper work turned up this morning and I spent around an hour on the phone trying to get some one to understand what the deal was, after about my 5th phone call the girl on the other end of the phone knew exactly what I needed and booked me in for this coming Thursday.

I think sky must have alot of new starters on the phone lines this morning!
