Voted HOT like every football fan should just as a protest against the ridiculously high cost of watching live football these days.

And as for Sunderland having no fans - i think not.

sunderland no fans? another nugget who doesnt know what hes talking about. 43228 average attendance jog on sunshine.

You're right.....18th in the league but with the 5th highest average attendance....that's just rubbish!

Bargain for the Pie Eaters.

thats good, im a reading fan and i agree
regards to prem games its getting crazy - whilst i can very very easily afford it, i have boycotted (as have my friends) the Chelsea match last season and this season due to the crazy £45 or £48 seats and i refuse to give a scummy club my hard earned money.....if i pay that im taking the seat home!!
i went to man city, villa, blackburn, man u, pompey, liverpool, spurs like season would have gone to more but mates couldnt afford it or tickets sold out (arsenal away sold out in less than 1 hour which was damn annoying which means there is the demand, unfortunately)

Its happening at a number of clubs, mine included, infact we have just extended the deadline for buying from 5pm tomorrow until kick off time on saturday, as long as an adult ticket is bought.

why are scummy london so different...my team reading is playing spurs on Sat and they are £20 adults and £10 for kids....so i wont be going - stuff them

its a cup game between two sides who'll be battling to avoid relegation so expect a reserve game:thumbsup:, Bradford started this 4-5 years ago

It seems to be "low profile games"

Reading v Spurs= 2 premiership sides and not too far apart
Sunderland v Wigan=2 "struggling" premiership sides and a journey (for a wigan fan) i wouldn't want to do no matter how cheap
Wolves v Cambridge= Struggling championship side against non league. Not exactly a crowd puller (no disrespect to cambridge) i am a season ticket holder, and have managed to get a ticket for myself and the nipper for £16 which for the game IMHO is about right, although its still a hell of a way to travel for the away fan
Huddersfield v Brum. This is probably the one game that i know is kids for a quid which surprises me. A premiership side away to a league side who have half decent crowds, and not too far and a decent stadium for the away fan to go to

Hudders - Brum - is it for away fans an all ?;-)

Blackburn Rovers v Coventry City
Plymouth Argyle v Hull City
Bolton Wanderers v Sheffield United
Sunderland v Wigan Athletic
Huddersfield Town v Birmingham City
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Cambridge United

here are the full list of Kids for a quid, and not a Landen side amongst them

Not a big saving to normal matches at Wigan. At Wigan and this would be classed as a Category C match i.e. Adults £15 so if you were not taking the kids then it is costing you more than normal Wigan rates.

Kids £5 at Wigan so s slight saving of £4 on 2 Adults and 2 Kids but 2 Adults 4 Kids cost the same £50 .

However, its good to see another club letting people see football for a reasonable price!

I support Sunderland and what you've posted is rubbish. We average over 42000 this season for home games and sell out every away allocation.

It's good to see these offers, I paid £48 to go to Chelsea last month, Derby County charge away fans approx £38. £36 for me to go to Spurs in a few weeks as well.

You have just shown the world you know nothing about football.

I'm  for you.

This is what Sunderland have come to, to try nd fill there stadium £1 a ticket nd there fans still wont be able to afford that

Unlike Newcastle who were offering free child tickets for league cup games earlier this season and if adults renewed their season tickets for 2008-2009 a few month ago, they would get free cup tickets :-D:-D

who wants to go watch the bloody mackems i wouldnt go even if it were free(as a neutrals perspective) . there **** and there going down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Newcastle might be joining them.

I doubt you would want to go and watch Sunderland, considering you support Newcastle.

Can we all come along and boo Fat Sam and visit Barton in jail instead?

:lol::lol: i only posted the first coment because i just knew all the sunderland fans will be up in arms and come out fighting and it worked a treat.

Then as for saying i've probs never been to a game since 83,i've been a season ticket holder for the last 9 years and i attend away games only missed portsmouth and spurs away this year

Gosh ! You live an exciting life toffee troll.

Excellent offer which ALL CLUBS should be giving their fans. After all, it's the love of football regardless of who you support.

Too much greed in the game.

Everton fan from cumbria says it all really!

lol
You wind up merchant you ;-)

I must say £1 seems a bit expensive for that particular match.
After all you can watch grass grow and paint dry for free.
Sunderland are known for their generousity with free tickets to all the local schools too, so having your kids pay £1 more than everyone elses may not be a great bargain. :whistling:

I would'nt let them mackam monkeys pay me a quid to go and see them never mind pay them a quid

Seems i caused a nice stir with my post :whistling: sunderland are well known for giving tickets away for free, maybe this is why they get big crowds??

Like others wish all clubs would cut prices on tickets,i paid £38 for derby this year a disgrace and i can't wait till they go down the greedy gets,£48 for chelsea why should i pay towards players wages.I'd like to see the one price say £20 for all away fans.time you've spent money on travel, food, drink ect it's a very expensive day out for an away game

:whistling:You should come down to the big league, my ticket to sunny scunny on the 19th has only cost me £20:thumbsup:

I paid 20 notes for todays fa cup game,i wished i stayed in bed now

Maybe this was a good deal after all then toffee.

The Sunderland kiddies you were winding up only paid £1 to see their team thrashed and dumped out the cup.

just watched sunderland where were all these 40,000 plus fans they get everyweek??

dunno, maybe the tickets were £2 this week?
