A laidback property within inches of a sandy beach, the SuneoClub Serenity Bay Hotel does what it says on the tin.

At the SuneoClub Serenity Bay, it’s all eyes on the beach – the hotel is plonked right in the centre of it. And because it’s one of only a handful of hotels for miles around, you won’t struggle for a spot on the sand. What's more, the property's getting a spruce-up for 2018.

You’ll be nicely out of the way at this place, so relaxing is easy. If you do want to do some sightseeing, you’ve got the ancient town of Sozopol a 40-minute drive away.

Went last year at this time and the pictures represent the hotel very well i.e No body there (in fact dead) and out of a week we only had 2 nice days. Rest of the time it was cold and wet
You need to go june to have best weather there.
Price up £40 per person now, 6 rooms left
Handful of hotels ,nothing for miles around ! Sounds a fun place !
Found deal with TUI earlier, £161pp for a week all inclusive at Duni Pelican. Just one problem, when you clicked to book, the price shot up to £201pp!! Sharp practice or what?
Been Bulgaria every year for past 10years. Beautiful place. Awesome people. Hotel food in anything less than 5star suuucks. Don’t go all inclusive. Food is so cheap that you’re kinda cheating yourself out of some really decent eats if you go AI
£440 now.
Sunny beach is amazing in June/July/Aug season doesn’t really start til mid June and weather picks up then too. I have enjoyed many many holidays here over the last few years and would highly recommend if anyone is looking for there first trip to Bulgaria
I found Bulgaria Sunny Beach a bit disappointing - i went mid June and weather was ok but evenings very chilly

It is a bit dodgy and we heard a few people got mugged - it was also the year of the mafia drug shooting as well - i did feel a little unsafe at nights

I've been to a a fair few sunny places for various holidays and personally love a bit of Cyprus

Bulgaria is great value though - very cheap beers! there is a reason why its the cheapest sunshine holiday destination though, hotel standards are not great - even 4-5 star is lacking

Bulgaria, Amazing place to visit anywhere for Holiday. Beautiful Virgin Mountains, Beautiful Black Sea side and sunny weather!
Get your Sun cream anywhere during the summer!
There is no way on this earth you would get me to go to Sunny beach or anywhere in Bulgaria really. I think Id go back to Laganas before I go there.

Go have a look on youtube, its a complete chav fest.

Also just have a look at the reviews - tripadvisor.co.uk/Hot…tml

And finally there is no chance of 22-25 at this time of year and if there is it gets a lot cooler at night. Expect temps in the teens.

You do realise sunny beach isn't the only resort there don't you, such as Nessebar or St Vlas with are either side of Sunny Beach if you don't want to stay in the middle, also sunny beach area stretches quite far so 5 mins away and you're away from the 'chav fest' you mention.
Another point to make is, because It's so early season - The younger lot likely won't be there yet.
I've been twice, hotel was stated as Sunny Beach but was a good 25 minute walk to the centre, if you don't want the centre, you don't need to go - there are plenty of other places to eat and drink plus, it'll probably cost you less too. When we did go to the centre, we went in the daytime and avoided at night.

St Vlas and Nessebar as I said are 10 mins taxi either side of SB, both quieter and much easier on the eye than SB though expect to pay a little more in bars and restaurants but they are both well worth a visit.

The temps in May can be unpredictable but no chance of 22-25? It's already in the 20's now and online weather is usually a couple of degrees below, expecting 24/25 next week Weather Forecast

St Vlas

Nessebar

Places which attract younger people tend to have the rough'ish areas but it certainly isn't the only country that does so. anyone thinking of going anytime, I'd advise to do so, as there's so much to see, it's very cheap, it's got sunshine and you can get some great deals at times to go there. One last point is the one someone made earlier, going All Inclusive isn't worth it unless you get a really cheap deal. They have some fantastic places to eat and drink and all a lot cheaper than other EU countries currently.

Enjoy

Sounds like you need to get out more

That’s the problem. I get out too much. And so I’ve seen plenty of of the world . And this place is for a certain type. 😜
