About this item
  • STURDY FLYWHEEL: The 18 kg chrome flywheel is designed to maintain momentum smoothly as you cycle on the cardio machine. Heavy flywheels support speed, stability, and consistency across your workout.
  • RESISTANCE: Increase resistance or come to a complete stop in a flash with the friction resistance knob. Use the resistance knob to increase and decrease resistance applied to the flywheel.
  • ADJUSTABLE HANDLEBARS: Ergonomic handlebars are designed to accomillimeterodate multiple riding styles while cycling on this bike for home use. Easily adjust the 2-way multi-grip handlebars, based on your height.
  • FITTINGS & ADJUSTMENTS: Tailor your riding experience to your individual height. Use the four-way adjustable seat that can be fitted to your individual leg length.
  • FLOOR STABILIZERS: Prevent wobbling and jerks while riding when you adjust the base levelers that will keep the bike stable on uneven surfaces.

The price is suspiciously good for a bike that is really popular with many and many have turned it into a poor person's Pelaton bike, by, for instance, adding a stick-on-able cadence sensor, heart rate monitor, even power measuring pedals. It takes the price up but still a tiny fraction of a Pelaton bike that, though obviously in many ways better, the Sunny still gives you a really good workout. I think quality control is a bit suspect but that seems to apply to a lot of spin bikes, whether they are ultra budget ones, like this, or expensive ones. I heard that Sunny don't warranty the bike in the UK but I don't see how that's legal, so I doubt that's true or well-explained and you can always return it to Amazon if faulty within the return period, so I think at £100, it's worth a shot and a fairly astonishing bargain, to boot.

To reduce noise, the advice seems to be add 'mineral oil' to the friction pads that control the level of resistance. A lot of good videos on that bike.

Sunny bikes are pretty well regarded, and this is a good entry level option - 18kg wheel in particular will make it a nice smooth ride. Shame it's not magnetic resistance but at this price point no real complaints!

Why not? They're like that so you can adjust it forwards and backwards.
