Thx

We're on a sun '£9.50' holiday at the moment. Ended up costing £150 once all the hidden extras are added on, but it's still cheaper than the normal price so still a decent deal

Do you need codes?

Just having a look at the link and that was published 2 years ago...is it confirmed as new when you log in with Sun+?

how does it work?

If you have kids and want either buttons or haven and need school holidays you will need to sit up late and be a sun plus member to have any chance for these parks...you book like a normal holiday when there website opens, usually about 1am on the night

thanks

The holiday was amazing, but I have never seen crowds like it... We are talking unless you are willing to queue up for a hour before doors open you are not getting a seat....pool was packed ...but the shows were just crazy.... I would really recommend doing the vip pass for the main show

Oh OK. Thanks for that.

Have you ever been during the summer? We went the year when Mr Maker was there. The queue to see him started two hours before the show, even the VIP section. By the time it was due to start, the queue was near the exit on the other side of the Pavillion.
This sound similar??

No...why queue for vip section as they only sell enough vip tickets to fill up that section...or so I thought

I suspect people just panic with the VIP, to have first pick or something... I mean, for the first hour or so, it was just two or three people. After is when the proper queue started for VIP, I guess in reaction to the ones already queueing.

I don't know if the VIP are allocated and numbered but if not maybe they also want to guarantee that they can keep the family together.

To be honest I use to love the fact they let the little ones go down the front and sit on the stage, so I did not careif me and the wife could not sit, as long as the offspring got to go down the front, now they have stopped that it was annoying as we were always at the back at best.... So I said to the wife we ether need to do vip or queue like all the rest

If you cancel on a trail price I believe they cancel your holiday, as they know that is what people do...I think if you join for full price then that is ok

Just a shame there are no summer holidays dates.

Want a weekend in Butlins are meal included? If U say no to half board does that mean u want full board as the options are half board yes or no or room only. And what are the entertainment passes for?

Choose self catering as that way you will get a kitchen.... If you go hb you will get just a room.... You can always add food but in all honesty it is a massive rip off
Edited by: "Aeschylus" 27th Jun 2015

Butlins only do half board, not full board.
My guess is that if you press "NO" to half board, then it automatically makes it self-catering.
I seem to remember the first time we went to butlins was in one of these holidays and we chose self-catering, we got an apartment, although obviously it was a bit more expensive than just a room.
Not sure how they do the booking process for butlins now, however.

Is this the new link to book?

club950.co.uk/

Also, is it just me who can't find any Haven in the list of parks? At least none in the northwest.
