Looks to be quite a good deal for a Sunrise clock, starting this Sunday (13th)

It looks to be a new version from last year which did well, so for £25 you can't go wrong to give it ago, much cheaper than the Phillips versions and if its not for you, Aldi are always great for returns.

What does this mean?

Who finds a bee noise to be soothing? Why not throw gun fire into the mix.

The Queen perhaps? :P

I'll give you that though, its a bit of weird one. I can only guess its "meant" to be like bees but its not quite the same drone you here for real.
That or its really odd......

I got last year's version & it's very good.

This went through the till at £9.99 at aldi Sheffield archer road store! Bargain!

Took mine back after four days. Still not improved from last year, although slightly better now the buttons are on the side. The major failings are:

* The 'sunrise' is terrible - the light just comes on at the alarm time. A 'sunrise' alarm on a premium brand like a Lumie is VERY gradual. This seems to be poor programming by the manufacturers, as the 'sunset' is actually gradual. So the unit can technically do it.

* It's at least 3-5 key presses to cancel the alarm for more than one day. As with the 2013 model, it already knows which day of the week it is, yet there is no 'weekend cancel' functionality. Baffling.

Shame, as it's so close to being superior to the premium brands.

this is very expensive! and I'm an aldi fanboi!
