Interesting that they've decided to include 'Kodi 17', despite the fact that this would have to be a beta version at best, at worst an older alpha.

I'm sure I read s912 was not a great chip.

like s905 is prob as good

HDMI version 1 sounds a bit backwards

Re the Beelink GT1, I can see some are saying there are a few bugs (but always the case with new chips/boxes) and it runs hot but I'm sure it will all get ironed out.

With the H96 Pro 3GB RAM version I posted a few weeks back, Gearbest are saying they aren't getting any! Not sure if anyone's received one at all yet. freaktab.com/for…bt4 (the pictures of the teardown on that thread are of the 2GB version).

Love the retro style design.

Takes me back to a time when such a thing might have been seen on Moonbase.

In practical terms, on the surface it doesn't seem to offer anything more than many of the other S912 boxes out there, so will have to wait to see what exactly is on the board to see if it is going to be a clone of others or offer something a little different in terms of both hardware and a firmware that works better out of the box than recent offerings have.

But if I was buying on looks, it's funky enough to attract my attention on that level.

Amlogic are still the best choice but I expect the prices to keep falling due to the semi scandal that the S905/S905X/S912 are all capped at 1.5ghz and even when reporting 2ghz, it's actually still at 1.5ghz.

is this better than the Neebox A95x?

please advise as I'm new to these TV boxes
