Awful product with plastic bits, full of flies, stinks and don’t be fooled by the 50 Ltr. I measured a few bags I bought last year and the are really only 26 Ltr. Complained to Homebase headquarters and got no reply. (edited)

Sounds like poor quality green waste compost. The composting facility near me used to sell it for £10 per ton bag! I've never had a 50 litre bag of compost fill 50 litres worth of pots either. The stipulation is that the bags are 50 litres 'when filled' so after sitting stacked on pallets for ages the compost compacts and never reaches that fluffy 50 litres again.

I buy alot of compost, it's expensive so always looking for cheeper products. I purchased this last year and I would never again. Awful product as already mentioned. Not worth the money, you will be forever picking out plastic and rubbish from it. Dont waste your money, pay a few more £ and get something else (edited)

The last lot I bought was full of plastic, hardly organic.

So glad I started making my own compost exactly 1 year ago. The first 1+ cubic metre pile is now ready to use and my second brew is about 50% ready. About to build a third pallet bay...😁
