A good price op

However this is Not a low profile jack, modern cars are very low to the ground these days.

So this has the potential to be pretty much useless!
Chocks away!

Got one.. which is really pleasing, as hardly EVER get one of these Homebase deals!

Reserved the last one near me, hopefully they have it! Will need something to make the head of the jack bigger though as that size loves leaving a dent!

2 Tonne? Bit heavy for a jack.
I visited my local homebase today. Lots of bargains to be had. I won't post in here cos I can't be bothered anymore due to the rubbish way this site is being managed.

Minimum height for this type of jack is 14cm which enough for majority of cars

A Low profile jack is around 8cm.

It just saves getting the sissor jack out the boot, to lift the car up enough, so the jack (from the deal) will fit under the car.

It is a pain!

that's why most trolley jacks are low profile.
Got this piece of kit it's pretty decent and paid for itself changing my front discs and pads rather than borrowing one from a mate which would have been for nowt but a favour given is a favour gained lol.
This is fine for majority of cars on the road .If you have a performance car then you may struggle Low profile Jack's are expensive bits of kit.
If it's not low enough, just drive onto some planks of wood to raise car up a bit
Beyond me how they make them for that price .
I used to make them on the side when I was an apprentice metal worker 40 years ago and the pump came from Eversure for £10 or £15, we used to make the rest in the workshop and knock them out for £25 . Which was a weeks wages or more for me back then.
Granted they were the dogs dangley bits not these flimsy things. Can't believe how cheap trolley jacks have become these days
Supatool... Is that the name of the product or the person who buys it?
Thanks reserved - oil change and pads and disks for the car now sorted...
Collected. Excellent for £20. Quite a heavy piece of kit.
