Been keeping an eye out for a decent buy and this is a decent price, and the best price for sometime. Has been sitting around the £35 - £40 price everywhere recently.

Lots of reviews/vids on YouTube... IGN review:

Since its release in 1985, Bomberman has been a familiar party-battle game for many years. Now, Bomberman is coming back as “SUPER BOMBERMAN R” to Nintento Switch. In SUPER BOMBERMAN R, the simple rule remains the same: operate the main character (Bomberman), place bombs, and battle with enemies and rivals, but it’s coming back in a modern style with 3D stages and photo-real graphics. You can enjoy battles with rivals from all over the world.

There is “Battle” mode for maximum of 8 players, and single play “Story” mode (cooperative play for 2 players is possible as well) where players clear each stage one by one, with a big volume of 50
stages. Also, there is a new rule where the condition to clear the stage is not just by wiping out all the enemies. This simple but strategic game with new rules and 3D stages is fun for everyone, from
children to adults.

Game Features

  • Exclusive to Nintendo Switch
  • Bomberman is back with the same game system and controllability with a fresh take on a
  • classic title
  • Photo-real graphics
  • Bomberman’s siblings and well-known enemies are back with rich personality
  • 3D stages with dynamic environments
  • Battle mode for maximum of 8 players, local connection battles, and online battles
  • Enriched story with all-star voice actors

This game recently just got a pretty large update, including new maps and playable characters, with the devs hinting at more content to come, so a great price to buy at!

Hopefully it will drop back down to £24.95 like it has previously, then i might bite.

I'd quite like it for £20 or £25 too never mind £29.99 , but after applying some perspective and realism, it is not even selling for under £30 for a used copy on Ebay. You can't even get Just Dance 2018 for under £25 ! Amazon have only reduced MK8 Deluxe to £37.99 so £29.99 for a popular multiplayer physical copy of Bomberman seems decent this close to Xmas.

Been looking for this at the £20 price point, surprised it’s not that yet. I think £30 is to much so will still have to wait it out. Hopefully in the Xmas sales it will come down to £20.

There is always Saturated Sunday and Cyber Monday and Techno Tuesday or whatever, who knows? Amazon are a good benchmark guide though and they (and many others) have been rather pants with Switch hardware and software. Next to no or little in joy-con reductions, hardware bundles are poor, and the highlights have been a £2.50 saving on MK8D or Just Dance 2018 at £25. Not great is it?

And of course you have to be in the right place at the right time and quick to snap in the brief windows of opportunity.

Yeah £20 is my bite point on an physical copy, waiting keep waiting

Bear in mind with just a single copy of the game, you can play 4-player on your TV (or Switch screen but might be a bit small on that!), with 4 people using 2 x joy-con pairs.

Same as others, £20 for physical and I'm in!

Same as Puyo Puyo.

Puyo Puyo LOL. Not quite the same sort of thing is it? Is like saying as soon as MK8 is £10 like Garfield Racing or Hello Kitty Racing, I'm in

Puyo Puyo is excellent. I grabbed that digitally from Canada at release for £23 so I was happy with that. All depends if you like the puzzle game and Tetris. It's got plenty of content.

How is the multiplayer on Puyo Puyo?

Yeah it's good, plenty of options. I get my ass kicked though.

I just mean Puyo Puyo is a game I'd like that I don't believe for a day is worth over £20!

This isn't launch window, we have loads of games to play now! I'll spend £40 in Xenoblade over £30 on this every day of the week.

I do love Bomberman though!

Everyone has different tastes and requirements I suppose. For me Bomberman is in my top 10 must have Switch games. Other than the nostalgia and it being a classic of console multiplayer gaming, there still isn't to many options for 3-4 players to have a sort of mini-game or party-game like experience on one TV. Have never really enjoyed MK split screen with a 25% corner of the TV, neither has anyone else in my house.

I suppose it shows how well the Switch is doing for such small deductions to be considered good.

I've pulled the trigger on MK8 & Skyrim for £38 each plus a Pro Controller for £48.

I think that is it, the switch is in demand compared to supply, and they don't feel the need to reduce. The console was top of the popularity lists for Amazon black Friday lightning deals when I looked yesterday. Bomberman is a great game, and if this version lives up to older ones it'll be a lot of fun.

Game seems to have generally been received as a good game, but not exceptional. One of the positives apparently is the end of level boss battles. Negatives I have read about were lack of options to customise multiplayer battle games, and lack of maps. Although @Appleshampoo has just said there has been free download/update content with new maps and hopefully more to come.
