To be fair it's practically a different game since it was originally reviewed.
Controls have been fixed, frame rate doubled, net code fixed, ton of extra content.

Awesome, will defo be picking this up now! Much closer to the price it should be.

thirty quid for a 62 rated metacritic game is still a lot.

I know we're use to being ripped off one Nintendo consoles and theres hardly any games out.

It's €29.99 on other European stores. There seems to be some sites that sell eshop € credit. Seagm has 2 €15 for £27.18. Of course you need to have a European Nintendo account to redeem and purchase.

Alternatively, back on the UK store, buy a £25 eshop card with 5% from cdkeys and pay the difference to get it for £27.80.

Anyone else found ways to shave the price down further?

An OK price for physical but too much for digital IMHO

nintendo is moving in the right direction with this.... soon reduction

Looks like a much better price.

As I don't have a Switch yet, I'm a little out of touch with the digital purchasing rules; Are purchases tied to just one machine (like they are on the Wii U) or has that all changed now?

This article explains one of the big post launch updates that delivered significant improvement

eurogamer.net/art…ort

Game wasn't very good at launch but has changed a lot since those initial reviews

A much better price but still not too bothered when I still love the older bomberman games when friends are round.

yes it has changed since Wii U. Games tied to your account now.

Wasn't Nintendo's decision actually. In recent years, sales of non Nintendo published games were always driven by the respective publisher.

Heat for price , tempting but I'll wait a little longer

How do I play that on my Switch? Thanks

So, 40% off and yet still massively overpriced.

Still a good £15 too much for me

Remember... A Switch isn't just for Zelda. It's for Nintendards who have more money than sense...

As long as you don't have credit on your Nintendo account, you can change region at 'accounts.nintendo.com' but if you have any credit on your account you won't be able to change without contacting Nintendo, so don't change region then load it with credit, pay by debit/credit card.
As long as there is no credit on your Nintendo account it's very simple to change region as often as you like

Bomberman on Norway eShop works out as £23.79, so a fee-free card would get it for that, else there would be a small exchange fee by your payment method (usually 2% or 3%)

So can you switch accounts, buy from Norway, then switch back to UK and see it alongside your other software?

South Africa Nintendo sells it for 390 rand which equates to less than £23. Got minecraft for around £15 the same way before and works fine. Just create a separate profile on your switch to buy from the South Africa store.

The download will show on the main screen. When you launch it, you will be prompted to select which account you wish to use. So just select your usual UK account

Call me when it's £4.99. I probably still wont buy it.

i dunno...switch already has two of the best rated games this generation and it's only been out a few months...by the end of the year it'll probably have four of the best rated games. Hardly any games...but when you have 2 or 4 of the best rated games year one it doesn't really matter. So.can definitely see the sense in picking one up.

3rd party games never hold their price for too long regardless of hardware they're on. Nintendo though are completely reluctant to discount their own games...they hold their price for a long time.

Different game? So it is halo, final fantasy or tomb raider now? (yeah yeah I know nintendo fanboys aree above those menial games). *rolls eyes*

Love switch and lover bomberman, but this should have always bn nearer the £15 mark!

Really want to get this as I love Bomberman, but not digital at this price.

Haven't been on hukd much in the last few months - it's nice to see the Switch deals still bring in the same comments from the same people!

It's not that great a version of Bomberman. £20 would be the sweet spot for me. I still don't get why digital is more expensive than physical, especially when you factor in buying a decent SD card.

In the case of the Switch at least, physical and digital actually start off at the same price. Physical tends to start quite high due to the costs of cartridges and Nintendo wants digital to match this, so physical sales don't get dented.

However retailers will end up reduce the price of physical, they always do! But rare to see digital budge, especially 1st party stuff. This is one of those rare sales on the eShop for the switch at the moment

Still over-priced for an ancient (although good) game.

I dunno, I presume it has a web browser

it's a very fun game to play locally with friends. The game has received lots of patches since it's originally released so very hot

Wouldn't buy any Konami game new. Cut them out, buy second hand. They're awful.

£2.99 is more realistic.

No way is this worth even 29.99 crooks

Presume away. But you're making a Pres out of U and Me...

There's no browser but you might be able to launch it using the new account trick to access the browser app, works for Google Doodles

Yep, I have a US, Japanese and UK account. Once installed you can play it with any account, you don't even need to switch accounts to play it! I just use my UK account to play all the games. It's seamless.

Yeah awesome game in multiplayer, it's improved dramatically since launch.

It's also one of those games that are great out and about when sharing joycons

I've put in 30 hours already!
