surely spelt hoover!!

why did the op called it a hoover?! lmao

Henry is a numatic vacuum cleaner .... and a jolly good one too!

Heat added, Bought a Henry 6 months ago from Sainsburys for £75 and its the best. Forget the bagless and cyclonic vacuum cleaners and invest in a Henry.

So he can do the hoovering with it, of course

So if I work at Homebase can I also use my staff discount on this along with the printed voucher?

How much does a Henry usually cost? How much are we saving here?

I paid £89 for one of these a couple of weeks ago. Heat added.

Hetty is available at that price too.

Hetty is available at that price too.

That's what I've reserved. Thought the husband would appreciate a new pink vacuum

Good price, I paid £90 from Amazon a couple of weeks back. Voted hot.

(I also had to resist making an Alan Partridge-style post about the difference between 'Hoover', 'Henry' and 'vacuum cleaner'. Bet you're glad you missed that...)

PMSL X) As Alan Partridge might say... “It’s like people when they say Hoover when they mean vacuum cleaner. Hoover is a brand name.”

Which one is better? VAX or Numatic?
argos.co.uk/sta…htm
Argos is selling Vax for 69.99 and you get £5 voucher to spend.

Bought one of these in Currys last month for quickness at £100. I bought one following the good reviews on Amazon - it's a great performing vacuum with large cheap bags.

Our previous upright Electrolux Velocity was a nightmare, only lasted about 18 months and the pickup was terrible even after maintenance. Filters clogged really easy and being out in the cold wind emptying the dust into the bin was a horrible task in the winter.

Our vax cylinder hoover was good though, the bags were double the price of the Henry and about half the size.

This is a great deal.

Hoover is in the dictionary relating to a vacuum cleaner. It is perfectly fine calling a henry a hoover...

Thanks so much for this.

so this thing will really get all the stuff out of the carpet yeah? we need something with really good suction as our current bagless is crap and its such a massive effort to hoover with it.

Where do I print the voucher off? And can it be applied for a reserve and pick up as I can't seem to do this on website, ta!!

Henrys are useless if you have thick carpet

ah really? it's not thick, but they arent good for carpet in general are they?

People say they are more of an office type hoover which have very thin carpeted floor tiles for instance. They are not supposed to be very good on thick carpet although they get very good reviews on the website...

great hoover its going to get hot hot hot at this price

Thanks honey.

Are Henrys good with pet hair, I know I should get a vac specialised for animal hair, but I've just heard so many good things about Henrys.

heat added, the best kind of vacuum for years! going get one tomorrow

I'm adding my thumbs up for Henry - we've had one for 2 years and it's brilliant!

Henry is great, I've got carpets and I never even have to use the HI button to boost the power

Just wanted to add that i have grown up in a home with many types of carpets and long haired animals, and it does a great job. The power is good and and you can get ends for different types of flooring (one being a brush type for carpets).

I remember my mum forgot the bath running and flooded the carpets with water, Henry did a good job, yet i didn't advise it (what ever you do, dont try it! lol)

You can get a Henry Turbo which is designed for pets but comes at a price. However we have cats and our little Henry copes very well.

the answer is no you cannot use this voucher and the staff discount

Great timing on this, we decided we wanted to get a Henry earlier on in the week. Just picked one of these up, and first impressions are really good, so thanks for the heads up!

We bought some bags to go with this, but there were three included in the box - I assume that these aren't reusable?

I think the Numatic HEPA woven bags are way better than the paper ones, very large, don't split, HEPA rated and only cost £5.57 from Amazon delivered.

Great price. Best vacuum no question. The reviews are totally justified. No wonder it's approved for 'industrial' use.
