“Super Lucky’s Tale” is a delightful, playground platformer for all ages that follows Lucky, the ever-optimistic, energetic, and lovable hero, on his quest to find his inner strength and help his sister rescue the Book of Ages from Jinx. Jinx is the scheming and mysterious villain trying to reshape the world, but for what reason?

Along the way, encounter a hilarious supporting cast of friends and adversaries. Lucky must confront the nefarious Kitty Litter, Jinx’s mischievous kids - self-taught villains who might not be getting Jinx’s plans quite right.

Lucky meets friends and allies along the way too. He meets misplaced Yetis, Kookie Spookies, a village of farming worms, and other colorful friends inhabiting the Book of Ages.

Delightful?! It’s infuriating

It’s very good though, also available with the Xbox game pass for free if you have it.
Is that code for xbox one as it doesn't state win 10 on amazon anywhere?

It says it right there on the cover!

Super Lucky's Tale is a "play anywhere" title, so these codes are for both platforms.

It's no Mario Odyssey but it's a decent little platformer, well worth the price.
It is a bit on the short side though I was able to 100% it in about 6-7 hours, probably only 4-5 hours if you just want to complete the story.
might be worth just to get game pass for some ? as its included on game pass and cant be the longest game. And sea of thieves is available on game pass tomorrow as well. Both are play anywhere titles.

Also 'X Enhanced' which is nice too, considering the price.

Blimey that was quick! It took me a good 18 hours to get enough to unlock and complete the main story.

If I'm honest, I don't even think my gaming skills are good enough to ever get 100% of all items on all the levels - some are really tough!
If this game had been made by Nintendo it would of scored 9/10 or 10/10 from the reviewers, this is the nearest you're gonna get to the mario 64 experience on the Xbox and looks brilliant on the Xbox one X. I did find it a bit odd that reviews were very mixed but really enjoyed it.

I think I had the most trouble at the start of the game, getting used to controlling lucky and getting the camera to face in the right direction so that I could properly judge tricky jumps.
- Remember that checkpoints heal you so if you're running low on health just try and blast through to the next checkpoint to heal up.
- If you've only got a couple of lives kill yourself to reset the counter to five before starting a new level.
- The 'Lucky' letters that you pick up in a level will stay collected if you replay.
- The mini games (sliding puzzles and marble maze thingy) are a real easy way to get clovers.
- If you're struggling to get 300 coins on a level remember that you can keep doing to timed coin run challenges over and over until you actually complete them. So you can just cheese your way up to 300 coins if you need to.

It was good but it definitely lacked polish. Long loading times, random bugs like falling through the floor or stuff not resetting when your character dies.
I also thought lucky could have done with a larger skill set, I was assuming that new moves would unlock throughout the game.
All the bosses were pretty similar too...

it depends. Have you read the FAQ on the site I linked. In my case, I use the same email for my XBox and Windows log in, so the games automatically appear in the Windows store.

"When you buy an Xbox Play Anywhere digital game through the Xbox Store or the Windows Store, it’s yours to play on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC at no additional cost. To take advantage of Xbox Play Anywhere, you will need to have installed the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition update on your PC, as well as the latest update on your Xbox One console. Then, simply log into your Xbox Live/Microsoft account and your Xbox Play Anywhere games will be available to download. On your Xbox One, games will show as “Ready to Install” under “My Games and Apps”. On your Windows 10 PC, games will appear in “My Library.”"
