For 10p more you won’t have to wait 5 days for delivery and get it tomorrow; thegamecollection.net/sup…ch/
It actually can work out effectively cheaper to buy it at Argos, for £49.99 + 5p for a carrier bag and then getting a £5 voucher back for spending over £50.

Except for the fact carrier bags don't count as items towards the full total in my experience so the £5 gift card wouldn't be issued 🙈

Pick up something for less than £5 and get the voucher that way. Still works out cheaper and don't need to wait up to 5 working days for a difference if 10p.
Can you just rip the membership and sell the game on CeX or similar?

You can sell the game to CeX with no membership. CeX already advertise the game as "No DLC" which also means no membership and the game case I've seen in CeX is the limited edition one which came with membership originally
So let me get this right...

(1) Basic game is just normal Mario Maker, with the nice cover artwork.

(2) But spend a bit more and you get the "limited edition" which is normal Mario Maker, with the extra of Nintendo online sub, but yucky big "limited edition" blight on artwork cover.

(3) Spend a bit more than option (2) and you can get a Steel Book thrown in. (effectively a Limited Edition +)

(4) And spend just a little more and you can also get (3) but with a pencil/sharpener thrown in I think and you have what is effectively a Limited Edition ++ (at Game).

So unless I have the above wrong... there is really no Limited Edition with this game in UK.
