Nintendo have cut 13% off a bunch of Super Mario Maker 3DS + Gift bundles, knocking them from £39.99 to £34.99 as part of their Advent Calendar.

Options include:

Question mark block Storage Tin
Mario Breaking Bricks T Shirt

And some other bundles which look to have been around a while.

Not sure if these include new bundles but they have always been £34.99 on Nintendo.

The game is available elsewhere for around £28 so decision is whether the additional item is worth £7.

Hopefully there will be some good deals in the Nintendo advent calendar, but I've yet to see a good one this year.

Yeah, looks like they put some old ones on the same page but i think the T Shirt and the Block are new ones. Cheapest I can find for the Block is £9.99 and the T-Shirt is £14.99 on Nintendo or £10.74 + Shipping from some Ebay sellers

hmm, had a look and not sure if any of the extras bits justify the extra cost. Is the t shirt really worth £15 though? or the biscuit tin (_;) £10? Although atm as were in hukd opposite world i expect this to get to at least 1000°c.

I paid £9.99 for the metal "biscuit tin" elsewhere, its surprisingly big and well made. Lots of Mario related things including the game going in there. The T-Shirt and biscuit tin both look okay buys with the game. Don't think the coasters or £6.99 mug are such a good deal. Regret not buying the game when Amazon prime had it at £26, dunno what I was thinking waiting. Would have got this deal too, had I not bought the tin already.

Yes. Apparently the game even plays the Wii U stages already out there. Not sure if that means they are pre-loaded or you have to D/L them.

Trying to find a good buy on something to take me up to £50 to get the free calendar. Best options look like the Biff & Chipper reading games and a few tennis balls, great if you need that stuff, but I don't.

Okay so bought Game+Tin, DK Amiibo Displa all for kids xmas, cost just under £55, free Mario Calendar included.

Quidco CB is 6.6% software, 5.5% merchandise, so should get approx. £3.50 - £4.00 back there. Not the worst deal.

From memory I think the codes for the respective calendars are MARIOCALENDAR, MARIOKARTCALENDAR or KARTCALENDAR and ZELDACALENDAR (but only on a +£50 spend).
