I was looking at the Super Mario odyssey collector's edition guide book by prima games yesterday at Amazon. It was £14.99 last night so I added it to the basket but didn't check out. When I looked this morning the price had increased 33% to £19.99. Looked again 10 minutes ago & it had gone up again to £21.26.
Quick Google found it at agreatread.co.uk for £11.83.
Ordered.
Hope this helps someone else stuck on the game

Edited for maths mistake. One third of 15 is 33% not 25%

My son is Super Mario Odyssey obsessed so this will go down very well, heat!
Great price heat
Ordered! Cheers OP!
Not bad, although the standard version is currently only £7.19 on Amazon which I picked up the other day. It does say bonus content in the collectors but gives no indication as to what so impossible to judge if worth paying the extra.

Found this.....
"Prima Has a Super Mario Odyssey Guide on the Way
You’ll need some help finding all those moons.
It seems like official video game guides are a bit of an antiquated item in the current day and age. Just about every game now has extensive YouTube series covering every facet of the gameplay and going over it all in nuance that guides might miss, and games are also prone to change with patches, which places a physical guide book at even more of a disadvantage. Nonetheless, they act as nice collector’s items for those who are interested, and feature plenty of art that fans will appreciate.

For a while now, Prima has been Nintendo’s go-to company for producing guides for all its new games, and that trend is set to continue with the fast approaching release of Super Mario Odyssey. On launch day, there will be a 320-page softcover copy and a 336-page hardcover collector’s edition, which can be found here and here. No info is present as to what all will be included, but given the exploratory nature of this particular Mario release, the guide will probably be something pretty handy to keep nearby."

That was from here.

So, apart from 16 extra pages & hardback/paperback, not really sure what the bonus content is.

Don't see the point in game guides, the fun is figuring out yourself....guides remove the magic from games

Really depends how you make use of them, they are certainly not something I start with on day one but I find they are nice to have for most open world games at least to help with mopping stuff up at the end of the game.
Ordered thanks. Also have Assassin's Creed Origins collectors edition guide for £11.83.

True probably good for the completonist for those types of games eg Zelda BOTW shrines

Yes it does. I used it to get them all, and everything else. 100% completion.

Just went back to Amazon to see if I could find out what the difference was apart from hardback/paperback.
Still none the wiser, so looked at the details for each book. The standard (paperback) is listed as 288 pages. The collectors edition is listed as 352 pages. That's 64 pages different.
Confused as to what could be on them. Maybe more screen shots?
As I'm not likely to buy both, might never work it out.

I only have the regular edition. The majority of the book is of course about power moons. These are brief descriptions usually with a map marker of where to find them. Most don't have screenshot. Would possibly suggest screenshots included in the collector's version, along with more in depth descriptiona. Perhaps the purple coin locations are more in depth too. In my edition only a few are described, with the rest being shown in just a map. The standard guide is perfectly great however, but for £11, I would have for the Collector's. I paid £5 something on eBay for my standard.

Just received mine this morning-delivery was slow, a week all in, but the book is fantastic. Nice finish, good pictures-no pixellated poor quality screen shots, loads of info.

Really pleased I picked this up on offer. Worth £25? Yeah, I think so, but I’d never have paid that. There is a free eGuide that comes with the book too-whether the content is exactly the same as the printed copy I couldn’t say, but handy if you’re playing on the go. Works pretty well on an iPhone 6s display.

Cheers for the post OP (for a second time!), really good price for this little bundle!
