Not sure if this is a good price but I was looking for this particular game and the Joy-Cons and based on current deals:

Super Mario Party (game only) in Currys is £36.99
Joy-Con pair in Tesco (in-store) is £55
Total: £91.99

So £79.99 for this pack seems reasonable if you're after this title.
Community Updates
A limited bundle that includes a physical copy of Super Mario Party and a Neon Green/Neon Pink Joy-Con pair.

Release date: 23 November 2018.

  • Suitable for the Nintendo Switch.
Board game play goes back to the four-player basics as you take turns and race across the board searching for Stars. You can also pair up two Nintendo Switch systems and delight in this dynamic play style, such as in the new Toad's Rec Room mode.

With new modes and new minigames coupled with original board game play, the party starts anywhere, anytime, and with all kinds of players. Super Mario Party brings back the fan favourite original board game gameplay which brings more dynamism to each turn. 80+ brand-new mini-games using one Joy-Con and 20+ playable characters are included.

For the first time on a console Mario Party game, it's playable anywhere with anyone by immediately sharing the second Joy-Con: a local wireless mode is available up to two consoles (two players max on each).

Actually in stock! At last!
Not a bad deal. Shame about the game though.
Good value - had ordered those same controllers for £60.00 previously so will return those and take this instead and get Mario Party for £20.00!

Thanks!
Managed to reserve one although everywhere near me is showing no collection till 7th of December for what it's worth.
I've reserved this at my local Argos but it's still a lot of money to play this just to see my kids' tantrum and my wife roll her eyes

If anyone has this game I'd appreciate any opinions. There has been some discussion around the model of Joy-Con with this pack (older model with 'drift' issues vs newer model) so I don't know what's bundled with this.

What was bad about it? Genuinely want to know as I've only reserved it for now

It all depends how often as a family you play gaming together. If you play often then it is definitely worth the money. However this game is only really fun if there is 3-4 players minimum.

What's wrong with the game?

From the other games in the series this one isn't exactly top.

It has it's moments of being great but sometimes it falls flat with its execution. I fully completed the game as my cousin got hooked for a week straight just don't go expecting to much.

I was thinking this might be nice for an expensive alternative to a standard board game during the Christmas period. There are four us in the house so I'm hoping it will work out. We can also do four player Mario Kart thanks to the extra Joy-Cons!

This would honestly be great fun for a family of 4 on Christmas Day. It is exactly as you mention, an alternative to a board game. This version is a huge improvement on recent Mario Party games, and has some extremely fun mini games. The bonus stars make it fun for the overall results at the end. However it can be frustrating when you lose because someone stepped on more red spaces
Can anyone confirm if this comes with the new model joycons please

Thanks for that. Hoping this will just be an easy family friendly game that even my four year old will enjoy. I've heard the game is frustrating if you're playing seriously to win but for just messing around for a bit I'm hoping it ticks all the boxes

Thanks for that. Now that I know I might not be able to always beat my kids on this I will re-evaluate how I approach this game!

My kids play this, got alot of mini games sometimes they just play the mini games in an esomble. I've even been known to have a dabble at this

Re the drift issues: You get a can contact spray from screwfix £5-10 and find a video on youtube takes seconds to fix. You dont have to take it apart just spray in the joy con thumbstick ball thats IF it happens.
Don't forget Quidco 5%
£99.99 currently on Nintendo Official UK Store
If anyone has joycon drift then send it to nintendo as they are fixing them for free. I had sent mine in for drifting and have just had confirmation that they have replaced parts causing drift and is now on its way back to me. I was not charged for this and I was out of warranty.

Sounds like a simpler fix, thanks!
Bought this bundle last year and much fun has been had with it, especially with four of us playing. Great price, especially with the Joy cons included, and would recommend.

One store said the 6th. I paid for mine because stock will be prioritised to stores on that basis so reserving may not guarantee you’ll get it if stock is limited.

Don't know if you're referring to the discussion on my Amazon France deal but mine came with the latest version of the joy-con (C3). I'd assume these are the same.
Ordered for collection on Saturday, my kids love the party game on the Wii.
Thx op
Cheers OP, just picked up Controllers (£55) and game (£38) so will return these and save myself 12 quid.

Just done the same in the end
The series have gone downhill in my opinion. Mario party 8 was the last one that was half decent. 9, 10 and this are awful.

Does that mean 2 consoles required? Bought this pack from Amazon.fr the other day to have 4 controllers overall. Is a single switch capable of handling 4 players with this or the likes of Mariokart? If not, I'll send it back.

This game is 1 - 4 players. nintendo.co.uk/Games/Nintendo-Switch/Super-Mario-Party-1388641.html

I believe a single Switch console is capable of supporting up to 8 players at once. Game dependent obviously
I have had this game on the Wii and wiiU. Kids preferred the former. Anyone know how this version compares?

I’m not sure that’s correct! I’ve never had reservation issues for items especially ones in high demand as these
I'm a switch newbie, do the joycons always come with the bit in the middle that joins them?
has anyone got an ebay link
