One of the smallest remote control helicopters in the world!

Weighing in at less than 10 grams and measuring only 6.5 inches in length, Play.com is pleased to present the pint-sized successor to the best selling `Super Micro Helicopter!'

This little beauty is constructed from polypropylene foam making it tough enough to withstand the punishment invariably meted out on those first few landing attempts. Precision user control and responsive trimming functions ensure the Dragonfly is easy to operate and consistent in flight. Instead off dual buttons to control the trim, the Super Micro has a dial switch which allows you to continuously monitor the helicopter's trimming. This enables flight through the air without the errant spinning seen in some models.

The Super Micro Dragonfly is capable of flying both indoors and outdoors (in very calm conditions only) and features a red flashing light for visibility...should you want to take it on a night flight...

Three bandwidths are available allowing three individual Dragonfly's to be flown at the same time without cross-signal interference. This micro copter charges from an AC adaptor with auto shut off; providing optimum battery life for the handset and maximum charge for the helicopter.

Genuinely one of the easiest Micro Helicopters to master...you'll be performing `bump and runs' into your outstretched hands before you know it!

Except that costs £5 more.

Thanks simate

Excellent price...

Voted hot - excellent price for one of these!

Anyone one know if this one is actually better?

I have one of the ones shown from play. Looking at the picture of this, it looks like the same, just with a different body.

Real remote control helicopters take 4/5 channels. This has two - so dont expect anything really great. Your left thumb is the up and down control. The right thumb controls the left and right tail roter, or rudder. In theory, it's setup to move slowly forward if you put it in a slight right turn. In practice, it's not that easy to control.

It's a great example of minaturisation, and a good toy to play with for 15 mins, but not the new hobby you've been looking for :-)

Just ordered one for a bit of a laugh. Cheers.

Ordered one aswell, as already said will be a laugh for the price

Now up to £17.99 :x

Just a word of warning... I purchased one of these for £12.99. When it arrived I plugged it in to charge and the plug exploded!! Fortunately no serious damage was done. But this item is certainly not suitable for children.

Now I have the hassle of sending it back to play.com to get a refund

Got mine yesterday with no problems. The wife absolutely loves it, even my 5 year old can sort of fly it, landings a different matter though.

I'd like to re-inforce the warning from Sandsman, my charger blew up the moment I plugged it into the wall, pretty scary.

I'm going for a replacement though as the 4-5 minutes that it worked for were great fun !

Mine was dispatched the other day so should get it soon. Not liking the sound of the charger blowing up. What exactly happened? As soon as you plugged it in :?

The helicopter comes with a small charge out of the box, so enough to have a quick play.

You get a separate charging unit which plugs into the wall, with a lead into the helicopter. I plugged it in, started to walk away when I heard a loud pop, followed by a burning smell, so it was unplugged sharpish.

Helicopter remains OK, just can't charge it up.

Obviously cheaply made, but at that price I half expected it.

now back @ £13.99 delivered
