Yes it's £79.99 which isn't actually a deal and yes people can get an emulator and the roms for their computers but for those people that actually want one, they are back in stock.

I still don't get why people are buying these? Why not just use an emulator and a pad?

They are pretty decent. If you dont get it that's ok but for some it's pretty cool.

Fwiw i bought two when they first came out @£70 each (for selling on) and flipped them collectively for £270 after modding. Not retiring to the bahamas money, but still a nice little earner. Not sure what the scene is like now but i expect its even easier now to mod them.

Ridiculously easy to add games to these little machines with a program called hakchi. Admittedly overpriced but it's well-made, speedy and looks fantastic. That said, my raspberry pi gets much more regular usage!

I have an emulator and a controller but I like the nostalgia, so I got one for fun, and I paid the original £69.99 RRP, I also got the £298 Curry's gift card when they screwed up the PS4 pro offer so I thought I'd treat myself

I'm the opposite. After much Pi enthusiasm initially I've got fed up of input lag ruining most games. The Snes mini seems fast and responsive by comparison.

Because a lot or devices that emulate are very poor and lagg alot. The mini classic range does a great job and is official hardware that can be easily modified to install extra games
