I was still reluctant at £30 from Tesco last week, can’t get my head around these switch game prices. Hurt enough to pay this for Zelda last year. Is it really worth it?

How much do you spend on alcohol a month? You get to keep this game forever and enjoy it for unlimited hours. Buy it.

That’s subjective, I’m alcoholic but tend to spend up to £20 max a month if I can help it, I have dozens of games I’ve paid pennies for and more I’ve bought on release still sealed over 2 years. Still I’m very tempted due to having an addictive personality and can’t turn down deals too easily

You could buy this game, play it for a month and then sell it for a similar price.

I’m beginning to think I probably could, only played Zelda a dozen times to complete and the boy seems uninterested in Pokemon so I could replace them with this
I am hoping there will be another 2 for £60 during Black Friday.

Trade Zelda in and that goes some way towards the price of this.

I agree with you 100% though. Most games I buy are xbox. There isn't much point buying a cross platform game on switch, especially if you can pick up a game on the xbox/ps stores for a few quid. But.... The nintendo exclusives are virtually always very good to truly great games. They are usually worth the 40 quid, and as I said, they hold their value accord gly.

I haven't played botw yet but I have it hidden for my kids Xmas. 45 quid for a 2 year old game.... But they do say its the greatest game ever made....

I preferred Ocarina of time myself. I paid £12 for Lego city last Xmas and my boy loves it, got MARIO U and Mario party in the recent Tesco deal, I could justify that.
The top titles on switch you really want to buy and sell. I have done that a few times. Paid £37 Yoshi crafted world completed with kids and then sold for £35 six weeks later.

I didn’t think smash was in the 2 for £60 deal. I think sub £40 is pretty hot but gonna hold out for a £34 via a code on Black Friday.
