Super "T5" Twin Fan Hovercraft
This amazing hovercraft runs on land, water and even snow.

This 40MHZ R/C Racing Hovercraft rides on a cushion of air created by pressurized air blowing downward into the rubber air-bag skirt, specially designed to "seal" with the ground. Two powerful aircraft-style props provide propulsion and steering. The hovercraft blasts over any level surface flat and smooth enough to "keep the air in" - smooth floor (such as marble, hardwood and tile floors, not for carpets or rugs), ice, and water. When you power up the Hovercraft you'll notice the main engine rev up, lifting the vehicle up on an air cushion created between the "skirt" of the vehicle and the ground surface, allowing it to float on an almost "frictionless" surface. With the three channel radio control you can maneuver your hovercraft with great precision. You have full control via the transmitter. This bad boy speeds across them all! The hovercraft is an all year round toy for all ages!

All the delivery costs are in the first item above.

In total you will be paying £18.81.

Great in theory, but once you add postage and VAT, we're nearer £19.

Haha I want one! What a cool toy!

Significantly more than the offer headline.

Maybe it should read "£18.81 delivered"?

whats battery life like?

Thats what I was wondering!.....imagine using this in water to find it only has a 15 minute charge or something like most of these cheap boys toys do.

A quick google search proved no results on battery life either, or the manufacturer, just a $25 price, which is the same as this offer roughly after conversion.

Just in case you are expecting wonders I would doubt if this thing will work on concrete unless it is screed (Very smooth) or grass. probably not on block paving too well either. You are very limited to the lounge or kitchen. (or water and snow of course).

Don't think that you'll have much luck in anything but the calmest of waters (lake, pond or river) so forget the North Sea or the Channel.

The speed of the R/C Hovercraft is approximately 7 mph on the water, and up to 10 mph on slick pavement such as marble floor. The range is up to 100 feet.

That would be deep.

I have one of these and it's rubbish.
It moves very very slowly on Vinyl, Concrete/Tarmac - forget it.
We took it on water and it got quite waterlogged and didn't really move very quickly.

Save your money.

A nice thought, but when you go to register with Lightscribe, it asks (compulsory) questions such as "Current Supplier", "Annual Turnover", and "Last Full Month Turnover", so I guess is really aimed at companies rather than end users.

The hovercraft does look good though!

Thanks, I will save my money

I've always fancied one of these. Will some public spirited soul quickly buy one and report back to the rest of us?

I've had one of these in the past and promptly sold it in a car boot sale for £5 less that I bought it for. Doesn't like carpet or gravel (of any kind) and Vinyl isn't really an option (it's so slow for a start) for most people as it takes to much room to operate so not enough space in the average household....maybe fine in an office or something.

And then we come to water.....it's extremely hard to control especially if there's the slightest of wind no matter how calm the water may be.....You'd be better off strapping a remote control car to the back of a remote control boat if you want it for land and water. Even though it'd probably sink, it'd still work better. >_

Got the previous model so this one may be better? They are ok as long as you are not expecting it to be anything other than a toy. Works fine on smooth surface such as wooden floor, vinyl, concrete, tiles, etc but as previous post needs a lot of space or a very skilled operator ;-).

Does not work on grass or carpet & does not work in windy conditions

Haven't tried it on "open" water but doubt it world work on anything more than a swimming pool as it's not that tall. Will not sink as filled with polystyrene.

Batttery lasts approx 15-30mins and takes 8hours to recharge
