As a motorist I am used to having a rear view mirror and cycling in traffic without one can be hazardous. I have tried various different makes and designs over the years and recently stumbled across the one that Decathlon sells. Not only is it the best I have used it is very reasonably priced.

It is very adjustable and the rear view that it gives is bigger and clearer than any others that I have tried.

I suspect that it has always been this price so it is only really a deal compared with other similar but more expensive products.

BTW - don't be mislead by the picture - it works equally well on right hand side of handlebars.

It looks like it actually goes through your handlebar, meaning I would have to burst the rubber grip on mine. Or am I wrong?

Nice, I'm getting one to see how much I'm skooling whippets. Can even let them catch up then roost there Lycra clad ass.

Yes because looking in the opposite direction when you're on a bike in heavy traffic is really safe, isn't it.

Looking over your shoulder is called a life saver....... cyclists, and bikers come to that, do it a lot.

I need a mirror. Everytime I look over my shoulder when cycling my brain instructs my hands to move the handlebars in the same direction as I am looking. Very embarrassing when cycling in a busy area or with my son. Luckily most of our cycling is proper off road stuff so it doesn't matter. Who cares if a couple of deer are chuckling at me from behind a tree.

Nothing wrong with having a mirror, I certainly want them on my motorcycle...... however if you use the mirror as your only means of rear vision and never do a life saver, then one day on the road you will get wiped out.
