Voted cold because this would be a terrible gift to be honest, I've done these Super car track days and they are amazing, the first one I did was 5 supercars for three miles each and that is the minimum I would recommend. Traveling all the way to one of these tracks for one car for three miles would honestly feel like a joke if someone had bought you it as a present, it is literally over in about five to ten minutes.

The RRP of £69 is an absolute fabrication, a one car experience direct with Everymanracing/drivingexperiences is £35, and they are continuously doing 20-25% off deals and very infrequently 50% off, so at best this is a £6 saving off RRP.

The last experience I bought (Nov 18) was for 8 supercars for 6 miles each, which had to be used before the end of April this year:

Time Specific Voucher - April 2019 Voucher Expiration
£114.00
Extras
Anytime Use x 1£10.00
Doublethe Distance x 1£80.00
HighSpeed Passenger Ride x 1£20.00
DemoLap x 1£10.00x 1
£234.00 Discount Applied - CYBER50 (CYBER50)-£117.00
ItemCost£117.00

So £117 for double the distance (6 miles), 8 supercars, demo Lap (Skoda Octavia vrs) weekend use and the high speed passenger lap (Vauxhall Monaro/VXR8 or BMW M3).

So I had 16 times more driving time than this deal and had a fantastic morning with friends, but to have just one car for three miles would have been a wasted trip.

Brilliant and insightful post - thanks!

Thanks. I tried to post a deal for Everyman Racing/Driving Experiences around balck Friday/Cyber Monday when they were doing 50% off, which would have made this experience £35/2 = £17.50, but even though I had posted deals for them before it said they would have to get back to me because they are a new merchant on here.
As said above, for a first experience going for just 3 miles in each car is fine, but you want really 4 or 5+ cars to drive for those 3 miles each. I do mine at Elvington, York right near the Yorkshire air museum, so you can do two things in one day, you get there at say 9am, queue for for 15 min, have a drivers meeting at 9:30, start driving at 10am, then another car at 10:30, then 11:00, etc, but if you finish your 10am car at 10:08 and go to get signed in for your 10:30 car early you may be away by 10:15 for example and it's possible to fly through the cars if you keep checking how long it's going to be. I've always had a great experience.

Also, don't bother payuing the damage waiver unless you are absolutely hopeless at driving.

...3 miles for £29, that's a low mpg
They need to offer more than 3 miles to make a memorable day out, Alton towers would be your best bet if your looking for a quick thrill.
Wait so is this 3 cars for 3 miles or a mile per car? or only 1 car to choose?
Done 1 of these a few years back, it was chaos ( busy ) and underwhelming, still seem popular though so
Lacklustre.
More fun as an add-on with those keyless fob gangs...

Beats saying no fatties, because these cars do not come with Transit seats. So size is an issue.

Rather than rant, if you elaborated maybe it would help others avoid them?

So I bought my father a car driving experience, he has tried to book online for nearly a year now and they are always booked up. The company will not give a refund and instead say you can choose another activity - at an extra cost! The thing is my father wanted the car driving experience, not abseiling or kayaking miles away! So it’s basically a con!

Exactly ‘within 14 days as they state’. However if your giving the voucher as a gift then generally they will try and book something over a few months meaning your 14 days refund period has well gone by. Unless you write on the voucher - book within 14 days or your screwed.
