Superdrug Makeup revolution iconic 1 perfect dupe of Urban decay Naked £4 @ Superdrug
Want the Urban Decay Naked pallettes but dont like the price? These perfect pallettes from Superdrug are almost an identical match in colour, cosistency and blending. They have excellent reviews , youtube videos on the swatches too.and are only £4 a pallette, plus order all 3 for free delivery (over £10)
These are great quality. I've bought quite a bit of MUA makeup over the last few years; the guy who set up Makeup Revolution was an ex-MUA employee/MD and branched out on his own. These palettes get *even better* reviews than the MUA Urban Decay Naked and Naked 2 dupes, Undressed and Undressed 2.
Think I might buy a few Makeup Revolution bits and pieces when I need to stock up. Superdrug had their makeup on 3 for 2 recently.
Also, MUA is owned by FB Beauty, who also own Vivo (not sure if they're gone now), Famous By Sue Moxley (discontinued), Accessorize, Look Beauty, FashionistA (discontinued too, I think?) and probably a few others I've forgotten to add.
Edit: The swatches in the earlier quote are for Iconic 3, not Iconic 1.

Not sure how they compare to the MUA matte palette, can't see comparisons out there. But the Iconic MUR palettes got rave reviews. ninasbargainbeauty.blogspot.co.uk/201…tml

To be honest, the reviews for the MUA mattes look more positive. Though some bloggers say that High Street mattes are difficult to do well.
I'll have a look in daylight tomorrow and get back to you as I can't remember off the top of my head and my eyesight is poor with the lights on

I presume the 'copies' aren't vegan friendly?
but if you don't buy UD for that reason, these look a great substitute
sorry, predictive text
I show this offer to my wife!!!oO
(Reply from Makeup Revolution): "....we do not test, or any third party, test on animals. We do not claim to be Vegan Friendly - however you are right - most of our products are - the obvious ones aren't"
(From the blog article): "here is a list of the ones you will want to avoid if you're vegan, as they contain either beeswax or carmine. (When you're checking for these ingredients, as well as looking for beeswax and carmine, check for their chemical names which are "Cera Alba & "CI 75470" respectively.)
Makeup Revolution products that list beeswax or carmine in their ingredients list:
Awesome Eye Metals
The One Concealer
Lipstick: Glossy
Lipstick: Vamp Collection
Wanded Lipgloss
Cream Blusher
Eye Primer
Eye Dust (says =/- carmine so some shades may be ok, you'd have to email them to confirm)
So as you can see that's really not that many products out of a pretty huge catalogue. The mascaras appear vegan and liners and all the eyeshadow palettes, some of the lipsticks... Lots of choice!"
I don't know if these ingredients will be changed, may be best emailing them to be sure as the blog post is from April 2014 (MUR were launched in March).

The only downside for me is that MUR don't sell loose powder. I'm mega pale and most loose powders go orange on me. I'll stick with my usual Coty Airspun or NYC Loose Powder
