Superdrug have reduced the price of their Solait 200ml 5* SPF30 sun cream to £3 from £4.49 but it's also eligible for buy one get one half price and 20% off for 2 suncare products promotions. There's free delivery with no minimum if you sign up to their Health and Beauty card to collect points and they also include a free bottle of cooling spray for 2 Solait products.

2% Quidco cashback also should make £3.53 for all this delivered.

It has a 5* rating and passed the Which? tests so offers really good protection. We used it last year in Croatia in August (sunny and 30 degrees+) without a problem.

Shame it's not spf 50 but cracking price for 2 so heat added

Well, according to the internet spf30 blocks 97% of UVB and spf50 blocks 98%. Higher protection yes but pretty negligible and other factors will probably make a bigger difference to overall protection such as applying a sufficient amount and re-applying at the right times.

Isnt SPF 50 for young kids and babies and people with skin conditions?

AFAIK, SPF 30 and 50 difference is negligible for teenagers and adults.
Nice find
Any difference between the SPF30 sun lotion and sun cream? Same size and price.
Has this brand passed the test?
Great deal. Thanks!

Yes, it has passed the Which? SPF test. Source.

Having looked at both product descriptions I can't see a difference but the Sun Cream product is actually referred to as Sun Lotion in the decription and the photo of the bottle also says Sun Lotion so it could be that the terms lotion and cream have just been used interchangeably by the web team. The Sun Lotion does have a different product number but is OOS so may be an old product version which has been superceeded. Just a guess, no idea otherwise!

How did you get that?
I have used SPF 30 abroad at 34°c + and come back white as a sheet so really don't need much more than that.
Ordered thanks

Same here. Post code error 101. Gave up.
I ordered 2 of the 400ml SPF 30 when the BOGOHP and 20% first appeared, they worked out at £7.98 for both, this is even cheaper so I ordered a couple more bottles. Thank OP!
Yup, post code error here too... Is this in store too?

Post Code Error
Thanks- just ordered!
Thanks just ordered
Cheers OP
For some reason if your postcode matches this criteria, Superdrug have deemed it invalid:
var pc_firstchr = 'QVX'; (if the first character of your code is Q, V or X)
var pc_secondchr = 'IJZ';
var pc_thirdchr = 'ILMNOPQRVXYZ';
var pc_fourthchr = 'CDFGIJKLOQSTUZ';
var pc_finalpos = 'CIKMOV';
it's doing further checks but yeah, this is why my postcode isn't liked.
expired OOS
Typical... had it in my basket and whilst i was faffing about with the health and beauty card it's gone out of stock in the last couple of minutes!
Ordered some of the kids factor 50 instead at £4.49 per bottle (before discounts)

2 bottles and the free cooling spray for £5.38 delivered is still not bad

Same here! OOS

200ml relatively useless though because airports. I find 100ml suncream from Poundland a lot more convenient.
