'Top up supplies' how about stay at home..

Oh please, don't start antagonising people. Some still have to work, shop and live their lives (within the government-set limits).

Yeah, I'm going to do that too when mine run out (couldn't see the Carex bottles in my Savers today).

By the way, I was out shopping today for the first time in eight days, before someone gets "offended" or "triggered".

Yeah, I read Reddit too, well done. "People like you", er, have we actually met? I don't need to justify myself to sour people with an attitude. Have a nice evening.

If they were lucky to get some, it does not means they are greedy. I'm a key worker and I do regret not getting more of this when I had the chance, for 3 weeks I was exposing myself without PPE and hand gel, while waiting for my employer to provide this.

I've no idea why he/she "assumed" (ah, gotta love assumptions on the internet) that I "bought all the supplies" (???) - I haven't purchased any today, and only bought two Superdrug Aloe Vera bottles (as per the online restrictions at the time) when it was 70-odd pence a few weeks ago. Only just started using one of them!

When I see Carex in Savers again I will buy one bottle. The security guard in there told me when they're getting more stock, which was nice of him.

I have nothing but respect for key workers but using it to justify being nasty to an online stranger is just bizarre. I've made no assumptions about him/her or their lifestyle. Aren't we supposed to be supporting each other?

Not tried the Strawberry & Raspberry version, but I'm working through a Superdrug Aloe Vera 100ml bottle bought recently (think I bought it when it was half price as well). Just posted because I thought some members may be looking to top up supplies.

Aloe Vera ones are better, this ones leaves a sticky feeling after it dries, wouldn't recommend unless no other option. Carex aloe Vera was much better.

Contaminated by what? If your filling it with more antibac gel I'm sure the antibac will take care of any bacteria and virus?

I only go shopping once a week. By chance, next to my local Asda, there is a Poundstretcher and a Home Bargains. I go in, as there is always something on my list I could not get from Asda. This does not means I don't stay home. But I agree with you, we should not hang around all over. Is just there are lots of people out there not breaking the rules, even it does look like they do.
This is not against you by the way, it is generally us not to assume things, as there may be individual circumstances.

I agree with you. And you know what? Even if you're not a key worker, I can't see why you should save stuff for me? You never know when you need it. I don't feel I should be entitled to toilet roll and you should not be, just because I'm a key worker. At the end of the day, this is life. Also, most supermarkets are opening first for the vulnerable ones and for the key workers. So there is already an opportunity for the key workers to get things before others.

Stockpiling and fighting in supermarkets fills me with horror and I leave that sort of behaviour to others. I *do* stockpile loo roll but that's from years ago when I first got domesticated. It drives my boyf mad (though he's self-isolating miles away). I actually have some Cusheen bought about a month before COVID-madness took off (by sheer chance).

I think some see these threads as an excuse to vent their anger/troll and don't actually care what the person they're attacking is like (I'm pretty reasonable and mindful of others) or what common sense measures they take. Had similar BS before on a OneBelow thread.

I get people are stressed right now, but this sort of nastiness is getting out of order on here.

no 3 for 2 offer but beggars can’t be choosers and can’t be chasing goose right now so bought!

Thank you OP. Heat added.

I managed to get some of the big Carex ones from Boots two weeks ago. Previous to that I had to get them from Ebay for close to £35 each. Oh and before someone shouts, I was getting them for ours, my brothers family and my sisters.

Stay safe.

Based on your comments, I didn't pick up this version.

Instead, I picked up the sensitive version, which has a nice talc smell, and not sticky. Its 100ml for 1.25, same as this deal. Lots of both versions were in stock in store at Leeds crown point.
They are making it more expensive so people can buy it I bought it a year ago and it was only 50p

You're right, there isn't a male equivalent for "Karen". And generalising is stupid, and sometimes, even dangerous.

On a lighter note, I'm surprised this is still in stock. Must mean there's less demand than before, which could mean we're all able to buy the supplies we need

About purchase limits for these items:

For the 3 For 2 Hand Gels you can only add two, but you could add, for example, 2 x Superdrug Sensitive Hand Gel 50ml and 1 x Cuticura Hand Hygiene Cucumber Gel 50ml and the 3 For 2 promo will apply.

Of course, any of the 3 For 2 On Trial & Travel items will work.

40648242-lvm9U.jpgApologies for not testing this sooner*, but I had no intention of buying more - boyf is going to order some, though.

Also, Carex Complete Aloe Vera Hand Gel 50ml, £1.45 is in stock today superdrug.com/Ski…469
