I know there are a few deals on here for Speckyfoureyes but I couldn't see this one so apologies if posted elsewhere.

Speckyfoureyes have a sale on Superdry glasses and shades.

Get a pair of prescription glasses for £15 or a pair of sunglasses for £25, delivery costs £4,99 for either.

Use code SUPERHOTDEAL in the basket before completing your order to get the discount.

The Ted Baker offer posted on here a while back is also still working! (glasses for £30/ sunglasses £40 using code LOVETED)

Well, that probably explains why my post went 4 times hotter than yours. I hardly ever look in vouchers, and I suspect there are a lot of others like me who don't. I found a good deal, but if I have to search multiple forums to check it has not already been posted, It's easier for me to not bother posting deals I find in future.

I still get a good deal, and don't have the hassle of trawling the forums to make sure I don't offend somebody by reposting something that gives others access to the same deal.

Why over complicate something? You still get a "deal" if you use a voucher code and I see loads of posts in the deal forum using voucher codes.Surely, if this site is moderated, then it's a failure on the mods part that they didn't spot it was a duplicate post, and move my post to vouchers where a lot of visitors probably don't bother going.

I actually got a message saying is this a duplicate post? and referencing a post from months ago before I posted this deal.

My post has made quite a few people happy. Surely that is the purpose of a website like this?

Thanks. Me too. I also don't appreciate someone replying to my post with just a link and no dialogue. Like Holly1985 did n the first post. I posted in good faith so I don't expect a lecture. Happy it helped.

With high prescriptions, lens weight is a major consequence especially with the current fashion trend to wear larger frames (remember 80's fashion Dennis Taylor hehe). Through choosing a frame with a smaller diameter and circumference, buying thinner lenses will not only improve atheistic appeal but also weight and overall comfort. If your prescription is single vision without complications prism, bi-focal, or correction for high astigmatism most on-line companies should cater for your requirements. ASDA opticians having an excellent deal as you have a high prescription, offering ultra thin lenses (1.67, 1.70, 1.74 lenses*) as standard for -8 and if the prescription is complicated you might be entitled to NHS discount. The only issue is like many cheap opticians use Chinese import lenses for the majority of their prescription, unless you cheekily ask if they're use HOYA lenses (who still manufacture some of their glasses).

*If you really want to give Asda Opticians and their staff a heart attack, and you're prescription is single vision (only short-sighted or long sighted) ask if they'll offer double aspheric lenses with the standard price for a high prescription.

Exactly, I missed this in the vouchers section I don't even think to look in there as I like to browse deals to see if I like an item I didn't know I needed till now. I wouldn't browse for vouchers for a shop unless I know I'm buying from that particular shop, my son needs some new glasses and I would have missed this if in the vouchers section . Thanks

Yes it's a good deal. Ordered a couple of pairs of Superdry frames from here in New Year Sale at this price. They took three weeks to arrive but very happy with the results. If you select continue with free lenses (no coatings) you will almost certainly get an email offering you the Specky 2 package (both anti-scratch and anti-reflection coatings) for £9 (versus £19 normally).

Good deal, you can select Frame with clear non prescription lenses if you just want the sunglasses with no prescription :P

I cant get it to apply the code to multiple pairs in the same basket, has anyone else managed this? Don't really want to pay an additional £5 shipping on a second order on a £15 pair..

shame they dont have an option for reacta lenses

sjm198333

shame they dont have an option for reacta lenses

Isn't that just the Transition Lens option?

Bargain .... was wanting a spare pair to leave at work .... can't go wrong for 20 quid

anyone tried theopticshop.co.uk/ , they seem to be reasonable too but i haven't tried them.

bought superdry prescription sun glasses last year after deal posted here.
good service

Thanks

Yes, they have to provide you with your prescription. They should've done so at the test (it's a legal requirement, I understand). Give them a ring or pop in.
