It is a good price for prescription glasses. But a word of advice regarding the frames. I have purchased these frames from Specky Four Eyes and they are heavy, quite tight and the nose pads are hard plastic. I adjusted the frames myself, bent them! Changed the nose pads to silicon ones I bought off eBay and it made a huge difference. There is obviously nothing I can do about the frames being heavy, but the frames do leave big indentation marks on the bridge of my nose.

I use them as a 2nd pair, which is always handy.

I thought I'd share my experience, as it may help others considering buying them.

Ordered on Black Friday and not turned up yet. Only order if you don't mind a lengthy wait!
@crap_I_dont_really_need@matfennell I’m guessing they’ve had thousands of orders for Black Friday offer, especially in the run up to Christmas. 20 working days is approx 1 month, so I’m guessing with the holidays around Christmas you should be expecting delivery shortly in January. Keep me posted.
How do you know the size of the glasses, for your head width etc?

I got my levi glasses ages ago from that offer.
Used them for years, Usually take a while to arrive but are always spot on & Have even had a pair re-glazed through them too. Thanks for posting finally replacing the SuperDry Dean’s ones I have had for 7 Years!
@ibblackberry1 they state the frame dimensions on the page plus you can use your old frames as guidance. The temple arms on your existing frames should state the dimensions if they haven’t been worn off
I think the timescales are due to a backlog - had a order missing from a previous promo a couple of years ago where the initial delivery was meant to be 20 working days. After getting in contact to advise it had gone missing, a new pair was dispatched and arrived within 3 days.

Still waiting for delivery of November deal too.
How do you get half price lense upgrade? I need thin lens due to my prescription which are usually priced over £100.

If you have some that fit already, check the numbers on the inside of the arms. If they haven't worn off. Otherwise, you're best going into a store and trying various ones. The bridge and arms are most important. Im 145 arm, 20 to 22 bridge so i struggle. Specky never do my dimensions in deals...
What's the widest ones for a male
I’m also still waiting for my pair ordered 22nd November........
I too order beginning of Dec and still awaiting delivery. If this wasn't posted I probably would have forgotten ordering it

Really? I had mine in less than a week! Sent them back for a refund though as they were way too big for me.
Thanks for this - I've just had a new prescription as my eyes have got slightly worse and my current pair are superdry ones. Just ordered the same pair with anti-glare lenses, delivered for £41. Cheers
Wait. There's an actual retailer named 'Specky Four Eyes'??

That's the prescription. I'm talking about how to identify the width etc which I know. Anyway question was answered, but cheers anyways
slow delivery - I ordered 17th November - still not arrived. I guess the less you pay, the slower they go.
I got the 1st batch of levis and the ted baker from them. Happy with them, waiting time was expected after reading comments here.

Use an angle grinder to lighten them, but don't forget to wear safety glasses.
Thanks OP. Great price.
Great deal. Even if they look terrible on can just use them indoors/spare
thanks
ordered bargain for £22 well posted op . can wait until February as i would of forgotten by then so added bonus pressie when they turn up
My animal ones were made and dispatched and in my hand 5 days after I uploaded my prescription. Very pleased with this company. Agree that the nose pads would be better if silicon but easy to change. Big fan of this company
I'm looking for advice, I got my prescription for glasses but don't know the pupillary distance, would it be ok to put in average? Thanks
I placed my order on the 3rd January and it's still just showing as order received. They also charged me £4.99 delivery which I've sent them a message about but am still waiting for a reply from.
Daddio, I never got charged delivery but took the offer to upgrade the lenses to anti glare for an extra £9.99. Does anyone know how long delivery takes?
