Sorry, but you can buy a proper make n the uk for less, this is a Chinese ripoff

If you are on a limited budget then these headphones are worth a look.
I have an older model which I have been using for 3 years and are still operable. (HD681)
Don't write them off.

What a cheap item from China, do you work for them to post this cheap stuff? This stuff won't last 2 days, but Chinese, buy twice

Just take a look at Head fi for Opinions on these ..

Just because the name is not familiar ..

Amazing reviews for these, but hey -- I guess you know better. And isn't everything made in China, anyway?

Sennheiser HD598's are made in China these days too; I guess they're rubbish as well...

Fantastic price for these, Superlux might be a relatively unknown mainstream name, but they've been highly regarded in the audiophile world for a number of years. the 668 and 681's are worth well above the asking price, even undiscounted.
Anyone calling them Chinese ripoffs or rubbish quite simply don't have a clue about what they're talking about.

Hot, definitely hot!

Agreed Superlux 681 and 668B are great value. I'd rather buy from somewhere other than Gearbest tho.

Youd be surprised how much stuff is made in China, branded or otherwise; like it or not they are an industrial & technological giant and you'll struggle to avoid goods made in China.

Quite a lot of Chinese headphones are performing pretty well these days, they often outperform the Western brands at the same price point.

For example the £5 KZ ATEs are better than anything else I've heard for a fiver.

At the end of the day the drive units are off-the-shelf, and are made in huge numbers in China even for a lot of the mid-fi headphone models by Western companies. Any monkey can package these into something that sounds reasonable.

At £20 I can't see these being anything other than decent.

I remember when people gave ROLLY EYES with the labels "Made in Hong Kong, Japan & Tiwan".
China and other countries invest heavily, one always gets Bad, Good & Brilliant in all markets.
I guess the specifications and consumer testing says a lot about a product these days, they have never been easier to locate thanks to the internet.
