Was looking to purchase a cheapish pair of studio headphones.

Was a vast selection to choose from!

I saw the post for the Samson SR850 at just under £20. Now they've bumped the price up, so I started looking around.

These were mentioned a fair bit and reviews seemed really good!

They have the ability to detach the cable and supply you with 2m and 3m cable, also with a carry bag and velour earpads!

Have you tried these: amazon.co.uk/Mon…8-1

They are super cheap and sound decent for the money.

Got a set mate to try, every raving about them? Excuse the pun!!! Cheers!!
While these are not what the title suggests (professional DJ recording), they are fantastic cans, especially for their price. They are semi-open back, meaning that they will leak sound, but the soundstage is fantastic, and they can be used in gaming for that reason too.

The build is all plastic, with some rubber in the headband, but at that price, you won't find anything of much better quality.
Sound wise, they are in the top 5 headphones under 50 quid.
I´ve had the HD681 (not the EVO, the older model) for around 8 years or so and I think I paid less than £20... soundwise they are fantastic, way better than much more expensive options.

They might lack the fancy design of others, and can be a bit uncomfortable after a few hours, but I would buy them in a heartbeat if my pair died.

Yep, have these, decent sound. Just very ugly n cheap looking
I have an older pair of these (Black and Red), infact, I bought a 2nd pair about ten minutes after I'd seen how good the first pair were.Had them over ten years now, still going strong.

I found them very uncomfortable myself!
I've had these a few years. I think they're excellent - the best earphones I've had.
got the samson and superlux 669 they are very decent for the price would suggest to change earpads for something better
These have just arrived. Swapped the pads out for the velour ones.

Very comfortable! The bass is so good and hearing sounds in songs I've never heard before!
