My two love reading the Supertato books, so with a plush toy of said super-powered vegetable thrown in - well worth £4 in my eyes

Oh, I LOVE the Supertato books! You can get a set of 10 Sue Hendra books (incl. Supertato and Supertato Veggies Assemble) for £11.99 at Book People, it's currently out of stock but they get new batches in all the time. I love Book People for collections of children's books, I got a collection of 10 Julia Donaldson books for just over £10 at Christmas too. Delivery is free over £25 and they always have between 10 and 25% off their 'handpicked favourites' books (which seems to be most of them) via a code on the homepage.

I got this Supertato teddy in store for £4 in lakeside on Saturday.

As for this book people link... Holy carp. I have been spending £6+ on each book!!! My 5 year old gets one every time she gets 10 on her spelling test.
Supertato is overrated. Evil Pea FTW!
Is Supertato's secret identity Wayne Rooney?

Oh no! At least you know now so you can save money in future. My wife works as a school librarian so she is always getting Dork Diaries, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Tom Gates, Horrid Henry, Dirty Bertie etc. box sets where the books work out at less than £1 each rather than their retail prices which are usually around the £6 or £7 mark per book.
trying to get one of these anywhere now is a nightmare. cant find one anywhere that is in stock
