If you're going to buy anything from Amazon, you can use this link and the "Royal National Lifeboat Institution" will receive at least 5%.
I'm sure this has been posted before, but now is probably a good time to remind people how much support they need

Definitely a repost but a worthy one! I just edited my bookmark to the amazon and changed the link to this one! Forgot i'd even done it and have spent hundreds there since do it people!

Worthy cause, heat added

What a great way to give/donate to the RNLI, heat added

quite agree great way to donate. perhaps hot uk deals should set up seperate threads for links to charitable donations. remember always gift aid where charity gets tax telief on your contributions !!!

heat obviously, certainly good to remind people about it

This sounds a fantastic way to give. Can anyone just confirm when you use this link it would be the same as in price and what you purchased if you went direct.

Just bought a 1k tv so feel good about myself now as should be 50 sheets there way

Added as a Opera shortcut!

Cold not a deal

No need to repost, the original is 4th on the list of all time hottest deals on the main page. Quite frustrating though as it keeps getting spammed and then unspammed

As the original was posted over a month ago, a repost is acceptable.

I agree with d19mes, this should be in another thread probably the Misc section as this isnt a deal at all, it's just information.

Great post.(_;)

Do they still get the 5% if you buy through a 3rd party whilst on the Amazon site?

Just a repost of the other one, but can't understand why that has been expired

hotukdeals.com/dea…915 - should be un-expired as its still valid (strange that one has been expired & this is now live?)

Don't see how you can have 2 HOT deals for the same item, same place & same cost? Wonder if thats a record?

That's why this should be moved to misc and a thread started ... not really a deal in the true sense of the word is it?

It is for a good charity, does it really matter how many times it has been posted?

The original keeps on getting expired, unexpired, spammed and unspammed oO

Cold not a deal

Correct .. it's an ongoing initiative not a deal. I think that it's a good initiative and is worth knowing but this really should be the subject of a discussion thread in Misc.

Blatant heat seeker. Voted cold.

Not a deal. Cold.

You can also help Macmillan Cancer Support
shop.macmillan.org.uk/ama…tml

The page says 5% or more of purchases 'could' make their way to Macmillan. Does anyone know how reliable this is?

Why do people care whether this is in Misc or not? I'd wager they'll be receiving hundreds more pounds simply because these were posted on the main page and got very hot

Most people on here know about it, that's why it gained 5000+ degrees

Heat for a great cause.

Shouldn't be posted under deals though

X) Nice edit.

Just to make sure my intentions were clear!

Cold - repost and not a deal, although I do agree with supporting this all the same.

If it is worthy of knowing it shouldn't go into the Misc section because no one reads that section!
Heck for example head over there and you will see my post on the free amazon book website that collates all the kindle titles in the UK that are currently free and sorts them by genre, rating etc. Great site, but moved to Misc because HUKD cannot gain any revenue by the re-linking.
Now instead of helping cut down on the spam of free kindle books posted to Freebies, the info sits in misc. Next time you are looking for a good freebie and have to sift through the latest cringe of free 50 shades knockoffs you might not be so in love with the Misc section :P

After last time this was posted i always use the RNLI link now. They should enable a feature to track cashback though so users can confirm their purchases are leading to donations. MAny people might be going via the link and being unaware that their adblocker etc are preventing the donation.

Great thank you never even knew this and I payroll give to em!

Worth cause but not a deal and a repost.

COLD

Reminding of what? This is cold for me.

I dont understand why this is hot? Okay its great your helping a charity etc, But this is a deal site. not a begging site.

If this must be posted then put it in the MISC Section, oh wait you cant get any heat there, understood.

Seriously, this is the type of deal I would love to make 100 accounts just to vote cold. Or perhaps make a "deal" that asks people to save HUKD and vote this cold, and link it to this.

Stop spamming now. I have a few 'likes' on this thread X)

heat seeker v's like seeker! X)
