Cheap price for a highly rated futuristic RTS. The Choices UK deal was a hit or miss, so I believe that this is the best price for Supreme Commander at the moment. Only 295 in stock, so be quick!

Blurb:
Supreme Commander is the first ever RTS to deliver truly strategic as well as tactical gaming with an emphasis on scope as well as ease of use. Set in the 37th Century you command one of three races as the Supreme Commander with a single goal in mind - to end the 1000 year Infinite War and become the reigning power supreme.

For a thousand years, three opposing forces have waged war for what they believe is true. There can be no room for compromise: Their way is the only way. Dubbed The Infinite War, this devastating conflict has taken its toll on a once peaceful galaxy and has only served to deepen the hatred between the factions. Delivering one of the most advanced and innovative features of any RTS game, Supreme Commander establishes a breathtaking new standard for sheer scope and scale of gameplay. Massive battles unfold across maps of unparalleled size and scope and thousands of units fight to the bitter end.

Features:
* Brand new RTS from Chris Taylor.
* Planetary warfare on a Galactic scale-zoom from the tactical unit level all the way out to the full theatre of war in one seamless motion.
* Includes full naval, ground and air combat.
* 3 unique factions that each appeal to different player personalities with approximately 80 units/structures per faction.
* 3 story-driven single-player campaigns with a detailed and rich background history that weaves into gameplay.
* Intuitive & customizable gameplay interface with unsurpassed command and control features let you quickly and efficiently manoeuvre troops across the battle field. Also includes dual-monitor support!
* Robust multiplayer gaming with up to 8 players online plus co-op mode.
* Full-on community support including a map & mission editor, downloadable content and instant battle replay features.

wow! Great price!

It is ;-)

I'm considering buying it now that it doesn't really matter if it's my cup of tea or not :-D

Bought this at launch and got incredibly angry with it. Immediately caught in a viscious circle and couldn't find any workable strategy. Been meaning to go back and have another go but my laptop hard drive simply can't accomodate it thanks to all these mammoth installations.

Great price for this, was going to buy for £5 on ebay the otherday but decided against it. From what i've read this game is best played with dual-monitors as there is so much going on but could be worth ago for £3.50!

I'll have some of that!

Thanks.

Great price, also Company of Heroes for 4.99 on same site (better game imho)

foulone, you should post that as a deal! :w00t:

Awesome game, it does make pc's cry, but it is stunning if you have the time and machine for it.

 Anyone who doesn't think CoH for £5 doesn't deserve a PC :whistling:

foulone, I posted it for you and gave you credit (although I did find it even cheaper! :w00t:)

Does anyone knows what copy protection this games uses?

If it uses ]Starforce, then I will not buy it.

As soon as I realised that Panzers used Starforce, I uninstalled it. The discussed rumours might have been speculation, but since installing Panzers (and therefore also Starforce copy protection drivers) on my win2000 rig, I did notice a performance degredation (and the soon after 12 month old seagate 250gb SATA drive failure MIGHT have been coincidental and unrelated).

It didn't get hot enough, then the deal expired. I actually found it cheaper but the price changed. Although you can still buy CoH for £4.99 from The Game Collection

Doesn't use starforce and the Forged Alliance (standalone expansion) is a better game overall (but I'd still play supcom!). Very hot.

Saw this ]thread over at MSF that mentions various problems with this company.

Can any users @ HUKD confirm that they have used this company in the last year with problems?

I received my copy today and opened it to find the disc had fallen out the spindle and it had huge fingerprint marks and scratches.
