Had one of these for 5 months, couldn't live with it now! Chips come out as if they are deep fried, you can cook a decent enough steak and toasted sandwiches are a game changer!

I paid £95 and it's worth every penney, get them while you can.

My fave thing in my air fryer are them cheap home bargains part baked rolls.
    Come out perfect every time.
5 mins at 180 slice and stuff with cheese and ham (or whatever) and back in for another minute or so.

Any recommendations for silicon liners for these? All the ones Ive seen on Amazon are for Ninja and they are too small. Thanks in advance

I have the 9.5L Ninja and they’re all too small for mine too. I have some but they’re annoying. The ridges on the bottom are big so it’s difficult to clean between them, and food doesn’t cook as fast since the air doesn’t go underneath the same. Kinda defeats the point of air fryer energy savings

49026285-ijnxn.jpgI'm on my second one of these as returned the first one last week, CS said it was the first they had returned.

It stopped registering the left draw going in making the machine not work at all. After some investigation I found a tiny bit of plastic on the top of the draw had broken off, literally about 2mm. This bit however was where it slides into the sensor hole to let the machine know the draw has been inserted. So my advice would be to push the draw in carefully.

    Great bit of kit (edited)

To be brutally honest, it's just a small plasticky and bit cheaply looking oven with two small trays and louder fan.
Got mine couple of days ago from Costco for £95.

    Sorry 🙏

Warranty: For those of us that don't understand nor fully comprehend the above answers on this aspect, would someone be willing to spell it out for us Costco newbies please.

With planned obsolescence becoming a real problem with electronic goods, some of us consider the warranty period, process & reliability to be a critical factor in making a decision.

We just don't want the headache. If the warranty is good/dependable - then it provides peace of mind.

With some exceptions (countertop kitchen appliances not being one of these) and as long as you remain a member, you can return things to Costco for any reason with no time limit. They have a 90 day limit on some other electronics (like I said small kitchen appliances like air fryers don't fall into this), with others like TVs they provide a five year warranty and a lot of computer hardware to two years. See this link: customercare.costco.co.uk/app…116.

They will typically just check your membership, verify that you made the purchase and process the return no further questions asked. (edited)

Something very similar at Lidl later this week for £99. If you've got their Lidl plus card you get a voucher off your next purchases when you reach a £100 spend so easy to buy something for £1....

We have been using an air fryer for over 5 years… this is our second - the first philips was a coated mess after a few years - still works but the paint on the tray flaking…. Put it in the loft - as a backup!

For this we bought some silicone mats/ baskets - no need to clear the trays now! After a few ywars these still look new! and the silicone is easy to wash - and after a year just replace for a a few quid.

You think they are bad, Hermes / Evri put a package in a dirty wheely bin last year and said it was left in a safe place.

Finally... Been chasing one of these for weeks. Almost bought the last time it came back in stock online only to realise they'd run out by the time I was adding it to my basket. I was going to buy in-store on Black Friday but they were all gone by the time I got there. Our local warehouse told me they sell out of their entire shipment each time they come into the warehouse. When I last saw it in-store it was around £95, so you save a few quid, but you have to be there when they happen to have some.

Don't know about other folks' local warehouse, but ours is quite temperamental for having certain items (even non-seasonal) in stock and it's just far enough away to put off speculative trips.

These were showing as out of stock at the Farnborough one Yesterday, but there was over a pallet full of them when I was in there at 3pm on Sunday afternoon and nabbed one. Yet to use it, but have high expectations

Out of interest anyone who has one of these do you take the little plastic things off the chrisper inserts? They are very tight to get in with them in.

Also anyway to disable the beeps they are very loud!
    IronDrake's avatar
    IronDrake
When I first put the inserts in, they were tight. After a few uses they've become much easier to insert now. Maybe the heat shrinks the little silicon bits?

Check in-store as I am sure I seen this for £95. But for £5 can't complain if you're getting it delivered to your door.

Wondering about getting an Air Fryer but had a few questions...If I were to swap to using one over an actual Oven, wouldn't getting the dual 9.5 litres be a better option for me and would they be ok for a whole chicken or something like that?

Worth it just for the avoidance of the "face full of heat" when I open the normal oven, lol. Tbh think this is the right price, not sure how much better the ninjas and more pricey ones are but £100 feels like a satisfactory buy, £250 for an "extra oven" seems quite high.
