We got ours last time they were on offer on fetch. Works really well. Batteries don't last as long as it says but we have two cats who like to look out a few times and then go and come in so it gets lots use. Much better after the app and firmware update.

Just plain ole Duracell work just fine, like I said never have a problem with excessive battery drain, may be there’s a problem with your flap!
