Two grand to get a processor that is two generations old.
Better off with dell xps13 best windows machine and half the price . Even if it’s a few years old hardly any massive advancements in terms of software processor etc
This has a GTX 1050 in it, amazing bit of kit. Far outside of my price range
new one should be out next month
I don't think I'd pay £2k to a bloke selling these out of his flat even if it's fulfilled by amazon.
His accounting and running of the business is pretty crap with the company being dissolved then restored several times (did he forget?!)

Nice homework hammer. If you purchase and things go wrong, the whole returns/warranty could be very interesting.

It's very easy, I just copied the seller's Trade Register Number:09795709 from the sellers info page, pasted into Google and the top result gave me this info. I do the same on any amazon or ebay seller - the Chinese sellers nearly always create fake business details and VAT number as they just ship to some PO Box in the UK and forward onwards.

Many UK sellers turn out to be selling from their bedroom, again a simple map search of the seller's address shows exactly where they are (assuming it's not a PO Box in some high street) - so easy to see this seller is a one man band that almost certainly drop ships stock from his source to Amazon. You can see from his accounts how big or small the business is and whether you feel happy to give him your money. Albeit if Amazon fulfill this order I imagine there is more protection than if you got it from his ebay account (assuming he has an ebay account)

I believe fulfilled by Amazon means you get the same Amazon returns policy, refunds etc.

If you have any issue then you just resolve it through Amazon.

I bought this for £2,197 back at the end of May direct from Amazon.

It was a few pence shy of £2k only a couple of weeks ago, direct from Amazon.

Just put a keepa alert on it.

I may return it when the new version comes out if there's a good deal on that. I find the hinge iffy anyway - so sure there will be a valid reason for a return within 2 years.

With the ridiculous number of tabs I can have open it does actually struggle sometimes. It's a lovely size though. Was trying to decide between the 15 and 13.5", and I think the 13.5" is a great size. Good for home use and travel.

No on all counts.

Dell are poor, with poor quality control.

It won't be half the price for the same spec, and doesn't have the same functionality.

Really? Not from what I can see. Last I checked the Surface Book 3 is expected at the end of 2019 or early 2020
