£1k for a laptop.

Yep, you get what you pay for with laptops. I have this for work and it's the most thin, solid, comfortable to type on laptop I've ever used. As well as having truly all day battery life, a brilliant screen and it's very quick.

Yes it's expensive but high quality laptops are.

I think you can already pre-order the new one around this price.

Ye you can and there is 50 quid of deal on ao if you search hotukdeals so not worth it for this model and specs for very very si ilar can get 10th gen processor and usb c port.
For that price I want more then a black and white screen.

£1k is pretty good value for a good laptop in today’s market. The days of them being slow and useless are gone.(y)

Are you living under a rock?

Evidently! My budget is more half this price point, so when I saw the price I was taken aback!

The dock is not as good as other brands tho (Lenovo for example)...
If you regularly spend in John Lewis then good deal imo.

For me the gift card would not be worth half its value so it's not that great a deal, unless I sell the card of 75 quid to someone etc..
