I downloaded this recently ,works well, went via Quidco cashback tracked at £27,try going via TCB who are offering 70% cashback so possible cost could be as little as £11 and they also have added 3 months extra for free
There whitelist feature isn't great. Most vpn can whitelist built in apps this one can't seem to. Eg if u have Android TV it won't whitelist Amazon prime. It's only a slight annoyance but annoyance non the less
Im using this does its job well.
Got top cashback paid - took a while.
Its cost me £5 a year for 2 years, so cant complain.
And yes does work with netflix america - canada.
I gotta say, I really did not get on well with SurfShark, basically all American servers were blacklisted at Netflix etc, and speeds were significantly slow.
There’s another 20% VAT on top of the price if you use a payment method that defaults to the uk.
Got this recently, does everything I want it to do with regards to Netflix, radio and my hacked firestick. Can't fault it for this price. They're a relatively new company and have said they will be focused on improving their features, the person I spoke to also said that the price won't change as long as you roll your subscription on auto renewal. The have plenty of good reviews online, no brauner for me!
Whenever I've looked at this is been this price, it's always showing 84% off, yet I have yet to see it at full price.

Does anyone know if it works in China?

Your'e doing better than me. I can't access us netflix on my firestick with the sshark app, but I have no bother on my laptop with it - the firestick immediately detects the proxy and won't play netflix. Very frustrating.
in deciding between this and fastestvpn - which one?
I have surfshark and use on my fire TV but it doesn't work with Netflix on it.
Any ideas as to why?

If I remember well, I used to pay in Canadian dollars by using another VPN and had the cheapest possible price and avoided the additional tax. Also double check if possible to stack with studentbeans or if better with them, TCB will still track it anyway.
Can anyone confirm if this works with RTE player?

Try restart your firestick each time you want to pick a new location. I think it clears the cache? I wasn't able to jump from one country to another without a restart, works alright now. If you have problems though, their chat help will always try and do their utmost to resolve any problems, give that a go

Voted hot. Have a look at my surfshark deal if you are existing customer. For new customers, use CYBERWEEK19 coupon code to have 27 months
Using my Aqua card (which doesn't have a conversion fee) it was £36.62 for me when paying in USDs.
I tested several over the last few weeks and for me surfshark has been then best for speeds for the money, nordVPN is more expensive and slower and express vpn is faster but more expensive. Surfshark seems to be the best value for money imo, secure too, no logging your data, unlimited devices to install on and customer service was fast and helpful too.

Surfshark. It was faster for me, unlimited connections and devices, way more servers and locations too.
How fast are they for like fire sticks etc? I heard they’re pretty unreliable for streams..
That's a good deal in the likes of PureVPN and NordVPN
Although my cost was actually £36.62,on TCB it's tracked as £35.28 with my cashback being £31.76. So if I do get the cashback,it'll cost me £4.86 for two years, very happy with that.
This disconnects a lot for me and the chrome extension I have to keep reinstalling. Don’t like it much and I’m stuck in it with two years. I used the free windscribe 20gb free for lifetime now. Helps with me getting my work done.
This or torguard ?

I got some IT knowledge and use both Surfshark and Windscribe Pro, in fact my favs ones. Surfshark is the best for what it offers right now and have no doubts about it. Have a look at all your systems and set ups you got in place and probably you'll find what is causing you issues. Write to their supports, both good generally speaking in my experience. Surfshark was able to allow me to bypass Amazon's Video geo restrictions last night and no other VPN allowed to do that until today, just to say.
Nothing wrong with my system thanks. It was an issue from their side. These are facts. Not a clueless comment thanks bye

I don't doubt you or your facts, just trying to give some info that may be helpful. I hope you will have the best use out of both, as I do. Bye, happy new year
Deep issues with this service continue to upset me and I paid a fortune for. The free service has proven better. Glad you understand.

Doesn't work with Netflix on my Amazon fire TV though?

Haven't tested it with Netflix, as I suspended my subscription and no need. Windscribe Pro works for Netflix,if that might interest you.
The only paid streaming service I use is Amazon Video, just because of Prime. If it wasn't included,I wouldn't have paid more for it.
Try the Geo Spoofing feature with the double hop and see if that will work, even if that will reduce some speed. Ask their support as well. I'm just a customer

Guys the Torguard 2 years bundle including the 2 dedicated IPs seems pretty good to me, probably that would help with Netflix etc, so I would suggest to go for it as an alternative to Surfshark (or in addition to) or others, especially if you gonna use those IPs also for other purposes.

Indeed offering good discount

you can get 24 months plan in £38.16 which is £1.56/month
With possible 72% at Quidco

When I look at the different thread for surfshark, they seem to have wildly varying topcashback amounts - some are 50 all the way to 70% - how often do they change?

When it comes to cashback that you've managed to claim, what percentage have you guys ACTUALLY received? I've read about people paying £39 and getting £37 back!

Has anyone had cashback that has been rejected?

Did you cashback track even though you used a VPN? I have student beans and I'm pretty sure they have a discount - do you or have you read of anyone who's claimed cashback with an SB code? I dont want to lose out on the cashback just to save a couple of quid and end up paying more in the end!

I successfully claimed £25.29 and got paid, even with the 15% STUDENTBEANS discount applied. I can't guaranteed that it'll work for you as well, so if you don't like to risk like I did, do it as you said.

I'll copy&paste here one of my posts for someone who asked for a good VPN, thank me later...

I have to say, additionally to windscribe, if you are lucky to have a university email ending with ".ac.uk", my best recommendation is for SURFSHARK. They run a promo like with 83% discount, to which you can stack an additional 15% student discount through STUDENTBEANS + TOPCASHBACK paying back 60% of the transaction. I was able to have it tracked on top of the STUDENTBEANS discount and 83% discount for the 2 years package(connected through windscribe USA VPN in order to get 0% taxes under PayPal payment which I choose), and after having compared the different currencies I paid in CAD (Canadian Dollars) and ended up having paid £28.10 for 2 years, minus £25.29 of Topcashback tracked..Total final will be £2.81 for the best advanced VPN I ever found for 24 months, which equals to £0.0039027778 pennies per day.
I think I've obtained the best VPN deal of the century, with unlimited devices included and even double hop technology like NORD VPN offers. Even without the student discount it would be the best one achievable also considered. Forgot to mention, I even used AMEX since I had linked it to PayPal,hence even adding up British Airways miles, every little helps!

Cheers. I just tried my student beans code and...nothing on the UK price! It just shows at the standard price with the 83% discount BUT when I change it to CAD it shows $1.99 instead of the standard $2.59, approx £1.15/month in CAD.

The really odd thing is that when I checked the TCB site whilst not being logged in it showed as 70% but when I logged in, it only showed as 60%?! I'm not in a rush so I'd like to try it when it's at 70%. It shows as 70% on my Quicdo at the mo though.

Do you need to do anything other than just change the currency to CAD? I'll pay with a disposable Revolut card so I don't get hit by any conversion fees.

Well...I was using Windscribe Pro VPN to connect to Canada in order to have the currency recognised and in order to not pay the UK VAT, as if connected to UK the VAT will be payable..So basically you need another VPN to save more for the payment..
Also, the 60% to 70% on TCB might be shown depending on the connection used, desktop(mode) or mobile, I suppose;it happened to someone else with QUIDCO at least, it might on TCB as well I guess.

Ah right, I've got 50gb free on 2 Windscribe accounts so I can use that - I just wanted to see if you used a VPN and the cashback still tracked.

I contacted TCB and they said that 70% was for new customers only - so I think out of principle, I might go over to quidco!
