Many, many thanks for posting.

These deals don't come up every week.

Much appreciated.

We always get these when offer. That lemon and thyme chicken was really nice the other week never had that before but my dad said he really enjoyed it too And he’s the toughest critic to please trust me

Thanks for taking time to post.

Never has a OP's username been more relevant to their post

Heat added.

Tomorrow night's tea sorted, thanks Scoffer

not really a surprise though. heat for posting

Thanks for posting - great offer

oooo time to use my £15 voucher from sky messing up

It's disappointing that almost every main now has cheese added to try to give it some flavour. I know lot's of people love cheese, but it is just another way to add fat and disguise the lack of flavour of the other ingredients. Cheese/fat is cheap. I am sure the Cheese/fat lovers will try to shoot me down.

9 of the mains this time don't appear to have cheese added - but 5 do - mainly lasagnes - so not really a bad selection for those who don't like cheese but take your point.

Is it just me who always goes into store to find only 2 or 3 choices for each course, and then has to hunt the store with the website open to try to find some other products, and then fight with the till assistant because they're not stickered?

Cheese isn't cheap though.

Besides, no one is buying this as something to eat every day. It's a treat, just like getting a takeaway.

Website states "Terms and conditions Menu correct at time of publishing. Offer runs Tuesday 7 to Tuesday 14 November 2017 in selected stores in the UK". but not been in store yet to see myself.

A dumb question from me, but since I haven't done this before, it's a take-away to warm up at home? I know it says dine-in but just checking.

Not dumb at all - yes you cook/heat the food at home and enjoy the wine while it's heating up!

It's only when you look at the ingredients that you then discover anything with mash, or a creamy coating will have cheese in it. Anything with a sauce will have cheese in it. All the gastro pub meals will have cheese in them. Cheese lovers heaven. But I prefer food that remains true to the original recipe and does not have to be fatted up to give it a flavour of some kind. Went in a pub recently with friends for a meal. Guess what, they only did cheesy mash. It's taking over the world. The plot to make everyone obese is gathering speed.

I work at marks and spencer and the amount of people that come in for this is ridiculous haha little tip make sure you go in on day 1-2 of deal cause on the last days it's always stuff no one likes

My usual process through here

1. open thread
2. ctrl+f
3. "saltimbo"
4. close thread

I can see in the post description it has the "Rotisserie chicken =- In a sweet and sticky marinade" as an option.

This peaked my interest as these are chuffin lovely, but on the M&S website I can't see that as an option anywhere.

Anyone who's been in to get one know if that is an option or just a typo?

cheers

Investigation required!! I copied and pasted choices from the website yesterday morning and it was definitely there then but has disappeared now! Sometimes stores vary - last time mine had beef joints which weren't on the website - but which were very nice! BTW I was hoping for one of those chickens too!

Interesting. I thought M&S had stopped doing this offer.

If you buy the Piemonte Chardonnay (2016) with the deal it's £8. Although the ticket said 'Piedmont' This is because that Chardonnay is normally £8, but is also on offer at £6.

Tried that this morning - charged the full £10 though.

32400883-760YD.jpgThat seems wrong. As I got it and someone else I know got the same wine. When I got £2 back from £10 I wondered what was happening. The receipt clearly shows the reduction on the original £8, which may have been reduced after the meal deal promo started and hence the reduction on this item.

Almost identical receipt but the same wine didn't produce the Wine Save £2 reduction. This was at 10 this morning. Maybe they changed it?

32401141-iuLT9.jpg32401141-3P5zX.jpg32401141-KEg4P.jpgThe second invoice shows the price change was still effective at 13:54. It should be a nationwide POS. It looks odd that they charge differently in other areas.

I take your point entirely - I always assumed their pricing was national, but see above.

I can see it right there. I'd ask them. Some are getting it and some are not. I think they are losing their marbles just now. They seem to be all over the place like a drunk on acid!

Just been to second M&S and still no rotisserie chicken. Was told issues with it and has not come in but possibly over weekend.
