* it seems there was a glitch with the VAT being incorrectly added on to the stated website prices. the prices shown are what you pay for the item

** FREE P&P that WAS available on orders under £20, now appears to have been yet another website glitch as swan did request that people pay the £4.95, but as a gesture of goodwill is honouring the FREE POSTAGE to customers that have already paid.

New Orders from the 13th will now incur a £4.95 P&P charge per order, which is quite reasonable with the current offers

*** all/ most items include a 2 year warranty

I have just checked and appears there was a glitch with VAT being incorrect/ wrongly added, as prices now reflect what is show in the image above

PLEASE note that this is HUGE. i had a 5.5l one before and honestly you could bath a small baby in it, it's that big!

Err what is Sage Pay and is it safe?

have some heat, missed out at tescos for this size in the sale but the is even cheaper!

It's like paypal.

Awesome deal just bought one

All gone?

Can not see button to buy only a compare button?

Me too. Looks like they've sold out :-(

Just got email asking for £4.95 for shipping and handling. Not happy. Might cancel

me too, should I pay the postage, shouldn't they honour their mistake?

Same here but the description clearly stated 'free postage' in text, the line cost for postage was 0.00, the order was confirmed by email and I can't see any T&Cs either on their site or email confirmation letting them renegotiate or pull out of the deal.

I'm gonna ignore the request for postage and not get in touch, doesn't state a time limit or anything , not that desperate for a posh casserole dish.

do you think they will honour it if you don't reply for paying postage/cancelling the order?

Got email too. Might send a cheeky 'tough but you are wrong' email quoting an anonymous source at the citizens advice

is it out of stock

Also got the email. Not sure what to do on this one...?

The links don't work is this offer over? Thank you

Back working now, site must have been down last night. Even paying postage this is a great price. Thank You.

I replied to the email that it was clear at the time of ordering that the postage was £0.00 etc. Got a reply saying that my order would be dispatched.

Free postage here as well... said it came up at zero, how was I meant to know it wasn't part of the offer.

Asked for copy of T and C's as I couldn't see them on the website and got this:-

Free delivery honoured here too. Same email response received as above. :o)

Nice letter, well done Swan.

Got 2 slow cookers and 2 kettles for £84 delivered, bargain me thinks.
Ashamed to say the 2 slow cookers and one of the kettles is the start of my Xmas shopping :-O

The 2 kettles I ordered both arrived damaged, they are clearly seconds, ex-display, known faulty finish.
It seems the prices were too good for new and I have been scammed.

My slow cooker arrived smashed to bits :o/

Has anyone contacted Swan about faulty items? Mine is still waiting pick up by yodel, 3 days after i got dispatch email.
Edited by: "flipperni" 18th Feb 2014

Mine has only just arrived. Will be sending an email this evening with pictures. Will ring them tomorrow if no response.

Just been on their Facebook page seems they don't like answering questions about faulty items.

My kettle was damaged too ( dented ). The box was a bit squashed and the flimsy plastic wrapping scuffed. They should have placed it inside a thicker cardboard box like amazon do. My replacement is being sent parcel force and collect + for the return.

Any word Kez, how did you get on? I have emailed them twice but have heard nothing.

Swan replied within a couple of hours to my email:

'Good afternoon,

Thank you for your email although I’m deeply sorry that it is to stress your disappointment with the quality of goods that you have received.

It is always our intention to ensure the customer is fully satisfied with all that they buy from us, we make every effort to ensure that the products we produce are of the highest quality. It is therefore very surprising and regrettable that on this occasion your purchase gave cause for dissatisfaction.

I can assure you that the goods we sell are certainly not seconds, damaged goods or ex display models.
For me to investigate this matter further, please forward any photographic evidence of the damaged items.
In your email you have not specified how you would like to proceed with your complaint, i.e. refund/exchange.

If you wish to proceed with an exchange, I will check the items myself before sending them to you to ensure that they are in pristine condition.

I await your reply, many thanks and apologies for the inconvenience and aggravation this has caused you.

Kind regards

Claire Massey'

They sent a replacement straight away with no problems after they received my email. It has arrived today and is fine. They were very good so can't complain. Hope everybody receives or exchanges their products with no problems.
