just a watch out, as with many of these cheap mixers, if you are planning on making bread or anything that requires a long mix many have auto cut offs after 10 minutes making them unsuitable so check the description or instructions. This one doesnt seem to have instructions online yet but another Swan one has auto cut off after 10 minutes and then 30 minutes where it cant be used.

We have a basic kenwood chef does everything you need, never looked myself but people in a recent thread suggested looking at eBay and gumtree for old version they saidyou can get good bargains. The others are kitchen aid, another good brand but expensive we paid about £90 for our Kenwood in a lightning deal nearly three years ago use it every week, dough, cakes and with a mincer attachment mince and sausage as well.

£90 is cheap for kenwood... I'll have a look round to see if there any offers.
