50% off on this brilliant looking retro fridge. It ends on Friday and I haven't seen this deal promoted anywhere other than an email. I've got its bigger brother, which looks amazing in my kitchen. Looks as good as a Smeg, but much cheaper.

Totally agree. What wants "swan" written on their fridge? Reminds me of matches.

These computer rendered images are bad. Why are they not showing any real photos?

From the Swan website:

Swan pioneered the first electric element that could be immersed in water. This was a very important breakthrough because it meant that a whole 6 pints of water could be boiled in just over 9 minutes. This led to a whole range of products based around their "immersion element", including tea urns, kettles, steamers and coffee percolators. Later, they developed and patented a unique safety cut-out for kettles, where the connector would be automatically disconnected if the element overheated.

I really hope they do well. Heat added.

Cool looking and interesting colours. I'd have one for the family room.

Swan is just a brand, they do none of their own manufacture and just buy their refreigeration product's 'off the shelf' from various factories in China, Hefei Meiling, Midea and XingXing being three of them.
