The reviews look good on Screwfix (and 1% TCB) for the next model up with 8 channels and £10 cheaper but it's pretty old tech and you can't add IP cameras to it. It serves a purpose more for business than home use, personally going back to bnc connected cameras feels like going back to floppy discs, although you can RJ45 it to your network (edited)

They normally do, their site is helpful as is the Swann community chat. If you do get , one of the funny things is watching a spider, they seem to love some of the cameras. The spiders like big white creatures at night.

Hi as a cctv novice can you clarify ‘RJ45 to your network’ please. Is that via a wireless bridge? Cheers.

RJ45 is just a network cable, you would use to go from router to DVR.

Both around the same quality. Swan has motion + heat, this stops faulse alarms such as moth's, spiders, windy trees etc saves on hard drive recording.

I think analogue stuff now is a lot better AHD 1080p, certainly cheaper than network stuff...

Thanks for the pictures. Can you set the camera to record in colour at night? The reason I ask is because I have lighting in the areas I want the cameras to cover.

Easiest way I found was Facebook message but that still takes around 3 days for reply.
